Megyn Kelly Interviews Christie Investigator But Fails To Ask Key Question
The handpicked lawyer who just absolved Gov. Chris Christie of any wrongdoing in the Bridgegate scandal appeared on The Kelly File tonight. But while attorney Randy Mastro repeatedly told host Megyn Kelly Christie did not know of the scheme to shut down traffic lanes on the George Washington Bridge “beforehand,” he never said when Christie did know. Even worse, Kelly never asked.

As the media mouthpiece for the conservative Catholic bishops, Fox News has provided them with full support for their opposition to the HHS birth control mandate. In promoting the bishop's argument, Fox has also advanced the Catholic right's myth that Obama hates Catholics and is waging a "holy war" against them. (Fox does love its martyrs!) And while the Catholic right hates the President, they haven't warmed up to the new pope whose commie views on social justice don't quite coincide with the Catholic right's obsession with abortion, marriage equality, and screwing the poor. Thus, today's meeting between the President and Pope Francis presents, for Fox, a bit of a conundrum as it would appear that the Pope didn't excoriate Obama for his sinful ways. But leave it to Megyn Kelly to distort what appears to have been an amicable and enlightened discussion and turn it into a bash Obamafest. And "truth detector" Kelly, once again, showed us that she is anything but!

Hitler wrote that "effective propaganda must be confined to a few bare necessities and then must be expressed in a few stereotyped formulas" which should be repeated, for “only constant repetition will finally succeed in imprinting an idea upon the memory of a crowd.” It would appear that Fox has adapted this strategy in its use of basic right wing memes that are repeated through several shows. Usually, the propaganda cycle lasts one or two days at most. But not for Fox & Friends which, when it gets some real juicy stuff, latches onto it like white on Fox News hosts. Several years ago, it ran a series, over the course of several months, which featured a right wing college professor who excoriated "liberal bias" in school texts. Their newest meme is the "bracket" system, created by a GOP Senate candidate, which purports to show constitutional violations by the "lawless" Obama administration. Today marks the 6th day of morning mirth.

Yesterday, Your World’s Neil Cavuto added his efforts to Fox News’ smearing the delay of the Affordable Care Act's enrollment deadline to sign up for health insurance. The choice of Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) as guest pretty much guaranteed that inflammatory attacks would follow. Just to make sure, Cavuto opened the discussion by saying, “This could be another goalpost just conveniently pushed.”

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) visited The Kelly File last night for several friendly minutes of showboating over the Republican-driven IRS witch-hunt investigation. Jordan’s hammy outrage was due to the IRS saying it will take time to redact confidential taxpayer information before handing over documents to his committee. According to Jordan, the IRS should work “round the clock” on this issue of “paramount importance as anything in the country.” Host Megyn Kelly did not challenge the ridiculous assertion.
Read moreO’Reilly Blames Ignorant Americans For Obama’s Positive Poll Result
Bill O’Reilly is shocked and obviously dismayed that a new CBS News poll found that 53% of Americans believe President Obama has “strong qualities of leadership.” Even worse for poor O’Reilly, he said that’s three points higher than a previous poll in November. So the Fox News host used his Talking Points segment tonight to explain the “almost unbelievable” results. Short answer? Americans are just dumb.
Read moreGreg Gutfeld: Women Who Have Abortions Have No Moral Values?
While Greg Gutfeld doesn't have any children of his own, he proudly stands with those who seek to force women to bring pregnancies to term or risk their lives in a back-alley abortion. And in promoting his anti-choice views, former altar boy Gutfeld has no qualms about slut shaming those who do make the informed choice to terminate a pregnancy, as shown by his characterization of those who have abortions as "morally inept." He claims that women who support abortion hate babies. He once "joked" that those men, whose partners have abortions, won't get father's day cards. Monday night, Gutfeld, did it again. He used the issue of the incinerated British fetuses to, once again, insult women who have abortions. And Fox News thinks there is no war on women. Seriously?
Read moreBill O’Reilly Melts Down Interfering In A Nevada Child Abuse Case
Bill O’Reilly has a new judge he wants to vilify and maybe even terrify. It seems a Washoe County, Nevada judge reduced the sentence of an elderly child molester from ten years to life to only one year in jail - despite molesting a six year-old girl 100 times. The case has received national attention. So we don’t blame O’Reilly for focusing on it and even criticizing the judge. But O’Reilly went way beyond criticizing and threw a temper tantrum of off-the-wall malice. O'Reilly demanded the judge be impeached immediately and threatened to send a producer to ambush him.

As Jon Stewart has said, "conservative victimization is the true genius of Fox News." And when it comes to conservative victims, none are more victimized than right wing Christians who are always given warm sanctuary on Fox. The newest Christian pity party, according to Fox, seems to be that the movie, "Noah," doesn't mention the word God. So, in order to advance what could be another Fox manufactured outrage, Fox reached out to two Catholic (the one true Fox faith) priests to advance the so called controversy which also serves Fox's anti-Hollywood and anti-atheists memes. Yesterday, lead Fox priest Fr. Jonathan Morris whined about this egregious violation. Today, on Martha MacCallum's alleged "news" show, second string and *very right wing Catholic priest, Fr. Gerald Murray continued the whine which, for Fox, is a big f_cking deal. Go figure!
Read moreAndrea Tantaros Uses 'Incinerated Fetuses' Story To Attack Britain's National Health Service
Fox & Friends isn't the only "happy chat show" that "injects venom" into the media bloodstream." That can also be said about Fox's "The Five," a show which keeps the right wing toxins flowing. The conservative members of the panel, devout Christians all, never waste an opportunity to attack anything and anyone who doesn't follow the gospel according to Roger Ailes. Of all the panelists, Andrea Tantaros seems to be the most effective as she, more than the others, delivers her verbal excrement with a sneering vehemence surpassing that of Michelle Malkin. Her commitment to right wing talking points is shown in her ability to link unrelated issues, such as when she connected the Malaysia Flight 370 to Benghazi. Tuesday, during a discussion about charges that some British hospitals are incinerating fetuses, she bashed Britain's beloved National Health Service which, in right wing circles, is an example of the pitfalls of Obamacare. Got ideology?
