President Obama held a joint news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the Rose Garden today. However, Fox cut away when it appeared that nobody was going to ask about Benghazi. Co-host Harris Faulkner promised to go back to the presser if “somebody throws him a question on this topic.”

On Fox’s Outnumbered show, Faulkner interrupted the press conference coverage with the following:

We were waiting for others to ask questions. We know that the next question that’s coming up is from a German reporter. We are not anticipating that that would be about the situation with Benghazi, which is breaking news since the President has been talking, really. So if in fact somebody throws him a question on this topic, we’ll go back to that joint news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Naturally, that gave Faulkner the chance to return the studio discussion to Benghazi, An “ALERT” on the screen read: “HOUSE GOP ANNOUNCES SELECT COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE BENGHAZI.”

In Fox’s world, nothing is important except exploiting the tragic deaths of four Americans for Republican gain.
