Say it ain't so, Jon!

In a discussion on America’s Newsroom this morning, Martha MacCallum hosted Republican K.T. McFarland to help discuss the “heartbreaking” news about the death of American aid worker Kayla Mueller. But while appealing photos of Mueller rolled on the screen, the only aspect of Mueller’s life or death that seemed to be of interest was how she could be used against President Obama. Or, as MacCallum put it, the “larger ramifications in terms of where this is heading.” 

Last Thursday, the curvy couch Christians contributed to the collective Fox/right wing freak out over Obama's reference to Christianity when he said that religion can be used to excuse violence. In suggesting that Obama hates Christians, the pals were, as usual, full of pious baloney!

It's just not Islam that, on Fox, is "bashed with impunity." Last week Fox & Friends guest Tea Party dowager Scottie Nell Hughes underscored Fox's reputation as the place where transgender folks can be openly attacked and mocked.

"Finally, someone is being held to account for misleading America about the Iraq war!" Stewart quipped.

Sean Hannity is so disturbed that President Obama dared talk about the perversion of Christianity by violent extremists, that he brought on a guest to accuse Obama of “verbal rape.” Because that's exactly what Jesus would have wanted, I'm sure.

Fox's Starnes twisted some recent comments of FBI director James Comey in order to frighten viewers into thinking that Al Qaeda has infiltrated every state of the country and that it's only a matter of time until they “start blowing stuff up” here. All thanks to President Obama, of course.

Screw all those foreign and domestic policy issues like ISIS and the upcoming budget wranglings. Tucker Carlson says that Obama should be promoting marriage which, did ya know, "tames" men. 

Fox fave and possible presidential candidate Ben Carson has earned himself a place on the Southern Poverty Leadership Council's "extremist watch list." What, what? UPDATED

Apparently, Sarah Palin thinks she hasn't made herself enough of a joke yet.
