Apparently, Sarah Palin thinks she hasn't made herself enough of a joke yet.

Saturday Night Live's one-woman ratings bonanza, Sarah Palin will participate in the show's 40th anniversary special, a political source tells PEOPLE.
SNL producer Lorne Michaels invited Palin to return to the show and the former Alaska governor accepted, a source close to Palin confirms.
Other guests will include Jack Nicholson, Alec Baldwin, Jimmy Fallon, Eddie Murphy, Justin Timberlake, Amy Poehler, Garrett Morris, Chris Rock, Bill Murray, Paul McCartney and yes, Tina Fey.
The show airs February 15 at 8 PM ET.

SNL’s 40th won’t be until October, but it’s their show. I remember watching the first show in 1975, it was my senior year in high school which were the best three years of my life, and I think George Carlin was the host.
Let’s face it everyone, she’s never going away. I fear we’ll be stuck with her in the afterlife too which will be pure hell.

Now that she’s pretty much done at Fox, she’s angling for a gig at SNL.
And why not? She’s was always a much better comedienne — however unintentionally — than she ever was a politician . . .

Eh, I’m not overly thrilled about the news of Palin being on SNL’s 40th anniversary show. I’m one of those who just wish that people would quit giving her the opportunity for more attention, more time on the teevee and more $. Just goes to show that no matter how much Princess Caribou acts like she despises those Hollywood types who “hate” her, she clearly wants to be seen amongst them. (Kinda like BOR when he attends the Oscar parties).
Oh well, at least there’s been plenty of ridiculous Palin remarks since the last time she was on for the SNL writers to draw upon. LOL!
