Sean Hannity: ‘Obama Presidency Is Very Much in Peril’

Posted by Ellen · May 04, 2013 9:00 AM · 12 reactions

Sean Hannity has developed a serious case of wishful thinking lately. On Thursday night (5/2/13), just two nights after Hannity called Obama’s second term “a complete and utter failure,” he announced that Obama’s presidency is “very much in peril.” Why? Because Obama's having some trouble getting his agenda enacted. “From sequestration, gun control, immigration, global warming, Obamacare, it’s been a very tough year so far for the president,” Hannity said. Funny, he never mentioned Benghazi – you know the issue that Hannity desperately hopes regularly suggests will result in Obama’s impeachment.

Hannity Guest: Obama Sends Signal To Black America Having ‘Former Drug Dealer’ Jay-Z As His ‘BFF’

Posted by Ellen · May 03, 2013 10:53 PM · 8 reactions

If you thought that Sean Hannity’s hammy display of outrage over a racially offensive – and withdrawn - Mountain Dew commercial indicates that he has developed any racial sensitivity, think again. Or at least reserve judgment until you can find an instance of Hannity showing any such concern when it isn’t politically expedient. As for me, I’ll believe it when he stops palling around with slavery apologist Jesse Lee Peterson. Or Niger Innis, one of Hannity’s favorite African-American black attackers, who quickly described the ad as “Mickey Mouse” compared to “the signal that is sent to black America, to all Americans, when the President of the United States has as his BFF an unrepentant former drug dealer. And I’m talking about a guy named Jay-Z.”

Kimberly Guilfoyle Declares Dr. Gosnell Guilty Of Homicide!

Posted by Priscilla · May 03, 2013 4:06 PM · 2 reactions

Remember back when Duke Lacrosse team members were accused of rape. Remember how the bloviating heads on Fox accused the public, the mainstream media, and the prosecuting attorney of declaring that the young men were guilty before having been proven innocent. Well, hold that thought and flash forward to 2013 and a case that has become a cause celebre for Fox News as it offers an opportunity to bash the media for not covering it sufficiently and promote anti-choice propaganda about the evils of abortion. As you've probably guessed, I'm talking about murder trial of abortion provider, Dr. Kermit Gosnell. Tonight, Fox News will present its special report that doesn't appear to be a "fair & balanced" documentary but more anti-choice, anti-media propaganda. No verdict has been returned. Still, Fox legal analyst and resident of "The Five's" coveted leg chair, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has rendered one and we're talking guilty!

Fox's The Five Attack Michael Weinstein As 'Anti-Christian Extremist'

Posted by Priscilla · May 03, 2013 2:13 PM · 2 reactions

Fox News' tainted food chain often begins with Todd Starnes' howls of Christian victimization which are then taken up by Fox & Friends. The meme is then reinforced on later programs - or, as stated by Goebbels, "make the lie, keep it simple, and eventually they will believe it."  This regurgitation was seen in Wednesday's Fox & Friends topic, gleaned from Starnes, about how the faux, Fox generated "War on Christians" is now happening in the military where Jesus loving Christian soldiers aren't being allowed to "live their faith." The reality is that the Military Religious Freedom Foundation is pressuring the Pentagon to enforce the rules against proselytizing which is, according to to the MRFF, very common. Fox & Friends hosted a Christian extremist and hate group VP to attack the MRFF and its head, Mikey Weinstein. Later, "The Five," a show that specializes in toxic spew, did the same thing. Goebbels would be so proud!

Will O'Reilly Condemn Glenn Beck's 'Reichstag' Remarks About Houston Airport Shooting?

Posted by Ellen · May 03, 2013 12:51 PM · 7 reactions

You know how Bill O'Reilly says he is on a jihad against "gibberish" about "deadly terrorism?" How he's so concerned about truth telling and calling out BS that he ignores what people think of him? Well, he'd better be out there condemning Glenn Beck's heinous exploitation of the shooting death in Houston's Bush International Airport yesterday the same way O'Reilly condemned the "out-of-control" "far left" May Day protesters. Otherwise, he will have exposed himself conclusively as in bed with Beck's inciteful rhetoric and a fraudulent concern troll when it comes to the left.

Steve Doocy Validates Hate Group's Bogus War On Christian Soldiers Claim

Posted by Priscilla · May 02, 2013 6:33 PM · 3 reactions

In the bizarro world of the Christian right, Christianity is under siege everywhere, including the military. The reality is that those in the military, who feel that they are under siege from proselytizing evangelical Christians, are pushing back which, of course, generates that sense of victimization in which right wing Christians revel. As Fox News specializes in persecuted Christians, as does Fox's Todd Starnes, it wasn't surprising to see Fox & Friends pick up on his recent report that the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation told Pentagon officials that troops who proselytize should be punished, a comment that provoked immediate outrage from Tony Perkins, head of the "hate group" Family Research Council. So who better to get the word out, on yesterday's Fox & Friends than FRC Exec.VP, retired general Jerry Boykin who thinks Sharia is a threat to America and marriage equality is the same as bestiality and pedophilia.

Imus And Beckel Mock ‘Jerk’ O’Reilly

Posted by Ellen · May 02, 2013 3:27 PM · 3 reactions

Presumably, Don Imus and Bob Beckel were mocking Bill O’Reilly out of affection on today’s Imus in the Morning show on Fox Business Network. But as an old friend of mine used to say, paraphrasing Shakespeare, there is much truth in jest. So just how much truth were Imus and Beckel telling when they called O’Reilly a “jerk” who’s “so full of himself” that it would be "deadly" “spending a weekend with that guy?” Even as Imus said he could say that "because we've been friends for 30 years?" I report, you decide.

Steve Doocy Is Upset That Atheists Are 'Co-Opting' National Day Of Prayer

Posted by Priscilla · May 02, 2013 1:23 PM · 1 reaction

As part of its patented meme about a "War on Christianity," Fox News is now pimping "The Fight for Faith." Seriously, that was the opening visual on this morning's Fox & Friends during which Jesus BFF, Steve Doocy, hosted a segment to attack those who want to celebrate a national day of reason as an alternative to the "National Day of Prayer" which, for right wing Christians, is almost as sacred as Christmas which, we know, is being attacked by those evil atheists. Although the piece was primarily an affirmation of the need for faith, from the very faithful Penny Nance, it was also a thinly veiled attack on a Democratic politician who has been nominated for the post of Secretary of Transportation - the message being that the godless Obama is putting godless people in his cabinet and that of course makes Jesus weep.

NRA Convention A 'Fox News Heaven'

Posted by Ellen · May 02, 2013 12:25 PM · 3 reactions

CultureMap Houston said it, not us, in a story whose headline described the upcoming NRA convention there as "Fox News Heaven." Indeed, the lineup is filled with Fox hosts, Fox contributors and regular Fox guests, plus a few Fox alumni such as Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. Also attending will be Ted Nugent, the guy whose "hate-filled rhetoric" who would be denounced 24/7 on the "fair and balanced" network if he were talking about killing conservatives instead of Democrats and liberals.

Cavuto Guest Likens Government Functions To Narcotic Drugs

Posted by · May 02, 2013 10:00 AM · 1 reaction

On yesterday’s Your World, Craig Smith, Swiss America Chair, spoke of May Day protests worldwide, and workers demanding more from government. Smith said “Look, it’s just like your drug dealer saying, ‘Hey there’s not going to be any more drugs so you’ve got to go through withdrawal. And let’s face facts, Neil. We have given drugs all over this world. Look at the bailouts in Cyprus, Portugal, Greece. Has anything changed economically? No. Look at the bailouts in 2008, we still have low growth, we still have high unemployment. These people have to realize that the government is not the answer to the problem. Neil, the government is the problem.”
