Megyn Kelly Uses Bill Ayers Interview To Smear Obama
Megyn Kelly was so excited about her “world exclusive” interview with Obama’s terrorist pal “unrepentant terrorist” Bill Ayers that she made it the top two segments of her show last night. She even put off discussing yesterday’s Supreme Court Hobby Lobby ruling, which she excitedly described as capping off “the worst ten days of any modern presidency.” So, not surprisingly, she set up the interview with a six-minute video designed to overstate the tenuous ties between Obama and Ayers.

Ann Coulter showed just what kind of Christian she truly is (again) on the Hannity show last night: by using the child immigrant crisis to baselessly accuse the Obama administration of orchestrating it. She and Hannity seemed to differ on the benefits Obama will supposedly gain. Hannity suggested it was to force immigration reform. As the mouthpiece for those who don't believe in evolution and climate change, Fox News has absolutely no regard for science as it does tend to work against its radical, right wing agenda. One would hope, however, that even in the pursuit of propaganda, Fox would, at least, not make stuff up. But that is precisely what they have been doing with the ACA's birth control mandate. In supporting the Christian right's and the Catholic bishops opposition to the mandate, Fox has continuously *supported their view that emergency contraception causes abortions - a position that is based on theology and not medical science. Last week, Fox "news" woman Martha MacCallum, in discussing the Hobby Lobby case, advanced the lie. Tonight, on Bill O'Reilly's show, "truth detector" Megyn Kelly, for at least the third time, told the Fox News lie during her almost hysterical defense of Hobby Lobby.

Friday night, Fox News aired a special report on Iraq. It was called, “Iraq and the Rise of a Terrorist State,” but it may as well have been called, “Why We Should Blame Obama And Not Bush/Cheney For The Problems In Iraq.” Driving that point home was a friendly, image-enhancing interview with Cheney himself.

Fox News Sunday stacked its panel discussion today to ensure an overwhelmingly positive reaction to Republican John Boehner’s lawsuit against President Obama and to shut out any voices of opposition.
