John Aravosis Smacks Down Fox’s ObamaCare Coverage
Why can’t all liberal guests on Fox be as feisty and frank as AMERICAblog’s John Aravosis? Unlike most liberal guests – who rarely seem to even consider Fox’s tactics, much less call them out – Aravosis was prepared and willing to call out Fox's phony ObamaCare victims. It seemed to leave host Howard Kurtz speechless.

Last week, Fox News' Gregg Jarrett appointed himself New York Mets paternity leave police. He adjudged player Daniel Murphy guilty for the crime of taking two days paternity leave instead of one.
Read moreFox News: Most Inaccurate Cable News Network On Climate Change
A new report by the Union of Concerned Scientists found CNN and Fox News sorely lacking in their reporting of climate change. Fox covered climate change a bit more than CNN in 2013 but its 28% accuracy rate was way below CNN’s 70% rate. MSNBC beat them both.
Read moreEric Bolling, 'As Christian As They Come,' Joins The Five's Anti-Muslim Hatefest
In what appears to be Roger Ailes' promotion of a Fox News Christian agenda, Fox hosts are quite open in their profession of the faith which, for the majority of the week-day hosts, is Catholic although others, like Ainsley Earhardt and Bob Beckel are bible based Christians. Never mind journalistic objectivity, what is profoundly offensive about this sleeve wearing religiosity is that these emissaries of a faith which teaches "love thy neighbor," spend most of their time bashing anybody and anything deemed anathema to the not so tolerant conservative right. Such was the case, last week, when the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was attacked across a spectrum of Fox News shows because they object to the Islamophobic agenda of those behind a film about domestic violence in Islamic societies. Included in the hate fest were the nice Christians on "The Five" who, once again, spoke of Islam's intolerance. Got Irony?!
Read moreFox News Outrageous Quote Of The Week Poll – Week Of 3/30/14-4/5/14
Not surprisingly, we found some Fox News outrageousness over the Fort Hood shootings. But we also found endorsements of torture, talk of violence against Mayor Bill de Blasio, another racial attack on Rep. Barbara Lee and some gratuitous smears of immigrants and feminists. All in a week’s work of cataloging the “fair and balanced!” But now it’s your turn, dear readers, to cull through these quotes and help determine which was THE most outrageous quote of the week!
Read moreLiz Cheney: Torture, Schmorture… Let’s Talk About Benghazi!
Fox News Sunday turned to Liz Cheney for reaction to the bombshell still-classified Senate Intelligence Committee report about the CIA and torture. It specifically questions the morality and the effectiveness of practices endorsed by her father. Cheney didn’t just belligerently defend torture, she suggested the Senate should focus on Benghazi instead.
Read moreBill O'Reilly Mocks The Poor At "Benefit For Poor (?) Kids"
As reported by our Ellen, Bill O'Reilly and his Fox posse, Megyn Kelly and Brian Kilmeade did themselves proud during their recent fundraiser for schools run by Bill's home parish, St. Mary's in posh Manhasset NY. Distancing themselves from the new "Marxist" Pope, the three Catholic (Kelly's official status is questionable given her divorce and non-Catholic second marriage) amigos whined about how poor rich folks are being maligned by those lazy, filthy "takers." But according to Bill, the benefit was supposed to be for scholarships which, one assumes, would go to the children of these takers. On "The Factor," Bill said that "the show will benefit poor kids." But given O'Reilly's aversion to truthiness and the lack of specifics on the receipts, poor kids might not be benefiting. O'Reilly et al. might have been, literally speaking, preaching to the choir. It's a complex world...
Read moreFox News Kicks Off Its War On Easter Hatefest
Easter has come early for Todd Starnes and Fox News this year. Not only have they found their latest excuse for “War on Easter” Christian victimhood, they were able to demonize American Muslims at the same time. This was probably sweeter than chocolate or marshmallow to Fox's culture warriors!
Read moreBill O'Reilly Named After Family Keepsake Truncheon?!
As we know, Bill O'Reilly is a macho guy who sees the world in terms of good vs. evil, black vs. white (literally as well as figuratively), Christians vs. "secularists," and so forth. He sees himself as a fighter against nefarious forces that are eroding his traditionalist, Catholic, 1950's society. His sense of being besieged by those who do not meet Bill's high moral standards (Ahem) is reflected in his patented "war on Christmas." And when somebody really, really gets Bill's Irish up, as does NY City Mayor Bill de Blasio and an "Occupy" protester, he fantasizes about beating them up. We don't know if Bill's pugilistic tendencies are the result of an abusive father, his high school's "tough" Marianist Brothers, or just Bill being Bill. But one thing is for sure, his combative manliness (Ahem) is reflected in a personal accoutrement. Simmer down now, it's not what you think.
Read moreFeminists Described As ‘Mean Girls With Less Attractive Women’ On Kelly File
Fox News’ recent excuse to play the conservative victim – as a cover for attacking their political foes – is the horrible, shocking, earth-shakingly important decision of some women not to speak to a conservative reporter at a feminist conference. Last night, Megyn Kelly allowed conservative Dana Loesch to smear feminists as “old cat ladies,” “Mean Girls with less attractive women” and tout the “reality” that there is no pay inequality for women. All the while Kelly and Loesch complained about liberal intolerance.
