New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio can join Sarah Silverman on the list of people Bill O'Reilly has announced he'd like to physically assault. Speaking at a Catholic fundraiser, of all places, O'Reilly and Fox News pal Megyn Kelly whined about the growing number of American takers just looking to mooch off makers like those two hardworking talking heads. Fox's Brian Kilmeade was also there and cheered on O'Reilly's threat. Just what Jesus had in mind, I'm sure.
Gawker's J.K. Trotter attended the event (so we didn't have to). The entire write up is priceless. But I'll just single out this particular gem:
The hysterics began when Brian Kilmeade read aloud a pre-selected audience question: Have we reached the point where there are more people on the free ride—for example, the people on the free ride getting welfare—than those who are actually working for a living?
After describing his upbringing in Levittown, New York, O’Reilly answered: “Today, a lot of Americans, you know, Hey, gimme gimme gimme, you know, they’re not willing to pay the price to succeed. It’s growing, I’m hoping we can reverse that, but it’s growing.”
Then the question turned to Kelly, who agreed with O’Reilly. After describing her own upbringing and her father’s early death, she explained:
Kelly: I don’t personally know the people who think somebody else should support them. Everybody I know works hard, and has come from a family who works hard.
O’Reilly: I want to introduce you to de Blasio. [Applause]
Kelly: The thing is, you work so hard, and you finally start earning some money, and you have people like de Blasio telling you you’re not paying your fair share, that you’re somehow bad, that you need to pay more, and you haven’t earned it.
O’Reilly: I want to beat him up. [Applause]
Kilmeade: Give him a little Levittown!
You may recall that in January, O'Reilly said he'd like to hit comedian Silverman with a pie, "Bang!"
In case you're wondering, there was talk about Benghazi at the fundraiser. Also lots of Fox News love. There were stirring words from Kelly about how "honored" she is to work for Fox, the "only place" where you can get the "straight story" about ObamaCare. This, from the woman who paraded a succession of phony ObamaCare victims before her viewers in a blatant effort to demonize the law. I have yet to hear a single apology from her about any of them, have you?

O’Reilly explained that they were so poor that when they vacationed in Florida, they had to drive sometimes. Couldn’t even afford to fly down. Wow, the tragedy of it all, Bill. The adversity he went through must have been horrifying for him.

Here’s what that PFC (Privileged Fascist Chickenhawk) O’Lielly will NEVER admit: he used his teaching jobs as DRAFT DEFERMENTS in the 1970s! Remember: like his good friend Mitt Romney, O’Lielly was a VERY STAUNCH SUPPORTER of the draft and the Vietnam War — he just wanted OTHER people not as fortunate as him to do the fighting and the dying.
This so-called “church” does not abide by its mission statement. If a porn star donated money to this “church”, they would probably invite her as keynote speaker, too.
The church’s leader John McCann is responsible for this whole fiasco. We refuse to acknowledge his title because he’s unworthy to be called that title.
If we had the authority, we ex-communicate Billy, Ailes Legs, and Brian Bigmouth from the church. All in that order.
