Check out the grilling Fox & Friends gave candidate Greg Orman (I-KS) – who may prevent Republicans from taking over the Senate - over the faux controversy of his “clown car” comment. Then let’s compare that to their treatment of Republican Joni Ernst who was embroiled in a real controversy of ducking Iowa's editorial boards.

In its desperation to slime anything and anybody connected to Pres. Obama, Fox News has targeted his wife for her role in facilitating passage of legislation that is aimed at ensuring healthy school lunches. She was even attacked as a "health czar" by Fox "news' guy Bret Baier. But students, in some schools, are objecting to school lunches which, they believe, are not adequate and, thus, leaving them hungry later in the day. So naturally, these kids who are speaking right wing truth to right wing power find a sympathetic ear from those on Fox & Friends who praise these kids as the 21st Century version of Freedom Riders. I'm sure MLK, Jr. would be so pleased to know that today's Fox & Friends guest is urging a one day boycott of school lunches as part of a nationwide student movement to, as expressed on Fox & Friends, fight the food police and starvation!

Megyn Kelly was gracious and obviously delighted about being parodied on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. But she did skip over certain things in her recap: the part that made fun of her and most of the part that made fun of Republican Chris Christie. Instead, she focused on the send up of Ebola nurse Kaci Hickox, a regular Fox target.

Fox’s Howard Kurtz spent not one but two segments painting Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) – recently caught on video yelling at and berating a constituent – as a media victim.

It must be the end of the world as we now it because - ready for it - Fox News talkers are praising Bill Maher. There was a time on Fox when Maher was referred to as "Pig Maher" on Fox Nation and was reviled on Fox News, especially when he made fun of Tim Tebow and Sarah Palin and her family. It was only in March of this year that the Hannity panel excoriated Maher for his irreverent remarks about the movie Noah. But let the word go forth that Bill Maher is now in Fox's good graces because of some students, at  UC Berkely, are do not want him as the commencement speaker because of his anti-Islamic comments which, on Fox News, are standard fare. So while Maher's right to free speech wasn't respected in the past, Fox News is all free speech for Bill Maher now

Ya gotta love it. On a network that featured family values touting hosts joking about "boobs on the ground" and abused women "taking the stairs," comedian Chris Rock is being pilloried for his opening monologue which used the Boston Marathon bombing and the 9/11 attack as a basis for some observational comedy. It was edgy stuff but that's Chris Rock. However, the humor challenged right right wing and their mouthpiece, Fox News are not amused. Not 72 hours later, Fox & Friends started their attack machine with commentary from Fox & Friends jokers Peter Johnson Jr. and Steve Doocy.  

Mark my words. If Democrats win in any close races that make a difference in the control of the Senate, Fox News will be squawking about voter fraud whether it's warranted or not - and it probably will not be.

Gregg Jarrett, who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after allegedly intoxicated and belligerent behavior following his release from a treatment facility, is back at Fox News.
