Megyn Kelly was gracious and obviously delighted about being parodied on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. But she did skip over certain things in her recap: the part that made fun of her and most of the part that made fun of Republican Chris Christie. Instead, she focused on the send up of Ebola nurse Kaci Hickox, a regular Fox target.
In the actual skit, SNL’s Kelly announced that there is “undeniable proof” that Blackula “was in fact white.” It was an obvious jab at the real Kelly’s infamous “Santa is white” comment last winter. Not surprisingly, that did not make into Kelly’s highlights tonight.
SNL also gave Chris Christie a ribbing over his detention of Hickox and buddying up to President Obama during Hurricane Sandy. That also got left out.
In her recap, Kelly showed a clip of “Hickox” acting defiantly, saying she “took a dip in a public pool” and “volunteered at a kissing booth.”
Surprisingly, The Kelly File also included “Christie’s” zinger of a response to “Hickox” saying she planned to sue him: “Get in line, it starts all the way back to the G.W. Bridge and traffic is very slow!”
No doubt, someone will get a talking to about that!
However, at the end, Kelly said she thought Cecily Strong was “pretty good” in the Kelly role. “I liked her no-nonsense style and she was tough on both sides. …I’m jealous that she got that nurse.”

I base this on pretty much every comment or joke about Megyn Kelly she has responded to. Quite frankly, even Glenn Beck did better when he got slammed on South Park, thumb biting and all.
