Sarah Palin may have turned down an offer by Fox to renew her contract there but in an interview one day later, she dropped her interest in getting a media gig.
In an interview with Breitbart.com, Palin was asked what she plans to do next. She answered:
Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can't just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.
...As far as long-term plans, the door is wide open. I know the country needs more truth-telling in the media, and I’m willing to do that. So, we shall see.
It's funny to hear Palin talking about wanting to broaden her audience considering that she's pretty much a Johnny-One-Note spewing venom against President Obama and the left and sometimes going after her own party's establishment. And since she couldn't be bothered to complete her own term as governor, you have to wonder who's going to want to hire her other than, maybe, Breitbart or Glenn Beck. But neither of those are going to be anything like a new choir.
Or maybe she's hoping for a new job at Glenn Beck's libertarian Disneyland.
Or is her idea of broadening her horizons working for that "lamestream media" she couldn't bash enough in the last four years? After all, she can probably see Katie Couric from the TV in her house.

I hope that she’ll soon disappear into oblivion, but I can see her resurfacing in some format, either talk radio or a possible Senate run in Alaska or if she takes residence in a dark red state like Arizona where she’ll easily win. If she returns to the media she’ll have to stay in her protective bubble as she was at Fox where she was worshipped and allowed softball interviews that never challenged her. I can’t see her putting herself in conflict with anyone who would disagree with her on other network. I really believe the reason she didn’t run was because she knew she would not be able withstand the debates and would be exposed for how weak she was to her followers who thought she walked on water. We knew better, but even in her friendly environment of Fox News she accomplished nothing but successfully collect a million bucks a year while giving herself self-inflected wounds by just giving her opinions. Her time at Fox was a complete disaster. I’m sure even Fox would agree with me on that.

Well, if one of the “lame stream” networks do pick her up as an analyst (bwaaah!), I hope she’s done her homework on the issues and is prepared for some valid pushback as it won’t be as easy for her as it was on Hannity or Greta where so was allowed to spew bullish!t without challenge.
I Know there’s More Haters out there and I want ’em ta hear me!!!! Oh! Oh! Oh! An I wanna get Paid a whole bunch ta do it!!!!!!!
