Sarah Palin Calls President Obama ‘Nauseating’ And ‘Disgusting’

Posted by Ellen -7835.60pc on August 10, 2012 · Flag

Sean Hannity is still on his kick of trying to make an Obama campaign ad into Watergate. And who better to inform the “we report, you decide” network's viewers whether or not there was illegal collaboration between the Obama campaign and the pro-Obama SuperPAC that produced the ad than Sarah Palin? Rest assured that she didn’t let a little thing like not having a law degree or not having done any apparent research stop her from arriving at her guilty verdict and more.

Hannity again asked the Watergate-like question, “What did (Obama) know about the ads, when did he know it and why won’t he condemn it?”

In her whiny, screechy, condescending voice, Palin said reporters “are basically prostituting themselves” for access to Obama by refusing to “investigate.” And yet, there didn’t seem to be much left to investigate given that she already “knew” laws had been broken:

They’re letting this go on, though it is illegal. It violates the, um, the PAC laws. What I would like to see happen is for just one reporter in the mainstream media who knows the truth about this to stand up and um, uh, do the worthy and ethical thing and let Americans know that there was collaboration and also that this is a far-fetched despicable ad that misrepresents Governor Romney’s position.

“Great American” Hannity showed not a scintilla of regret nor sorrow that his president had been adjudged a lawbreaker. He said happily, “That would be a violation of law, Governor.”

Well, last I checked, Hannity and Palin work for a mainstream media outfit called Fox News. How about “just one reporter” reporting on that illegal collaboration they care so much about? Either neither of those two have any cred with the “objective news” division of Fox or the “objective news” division is in the tank for Obama like the rest of the “lamestream” media… or there’s no story there to report.

But of course, Hannity didn’t go there. Instead, he went on to remind us what a big martyr poor Palin is at the hands of the liberal media/Obama administration (because if you're a Fox Newsie, there’s no difference! ) “What would you like to say to the president?” Hannity egged asked.

Palin replied:

I hope his daughters never have to go through what he allows and even I believe helps perpetuate what other women go through. He, the president, as the leader of these attackers and these attackers try to invalid and discredit somebody’s record and reputation and what they stand for by diminishing them via these horrible attacks. I hope that his family members don’t have to go through that. You don’t wish it on your worst enemy.

Oh, you mean like using the anti-Semitic term “blood libel” in the wake of the Gabby Giffords shooting in Tucson, when Giffords is Jewish? Or saying President Obama wants to take the country back to pre-Civil War days? Or accusing President Obama of palling around with terrorists? Or is Palin just another GOP Special Victim who can’t take even a fraction of what she regularly dishes out?

Apparently, it’s the latter. Because no sooner had Palin mounted her high horse of decency than she went on to sneer:

But you know at this point, President Obama has proven himself to be one that is just all talk. He’s no, um, he’s no, uh, person that, uh, actually walks the walk. He talks the talk about civility and about fairness and ethics and yet he is the leader of those, um, unfair and, uh, disgusting attacks on people who he just happens to politically disagree with. I think it’s disgusting. And at this point, you know with all due respect to the office of the presidency, when I hear Barack Obama speak at this point, especially when he lectures about ethics and civility, it’s nauseating to me.

What was really nauseating was to see the vicious little smile that came over her face just as she began that last sentence.

Feel free to tweet Palin via @SarahPalinUSA. Hannity tweets @SeanHannity but the big-talking bullyboy is too cowardly to keep his account available to the public. However, you can still comment via his Facebook page.

To add onto MJ: Also, if Obama “can’t run on his record,” why is he beating Romney by nine points and climbing?

It might be because Obama’s results weren’t minor. For an example, when the republicans quit throwing their tantrums about unemployment, the rate was 9.2- almost a full point above the 8.3% it was when he took office.

Obama got the rate down to 8.0, then the right began their games again- right-wing employers who don’t like him refused to hire, Republicans refused to even pretend they were going to help any initiatives. It’s now back up to 8.3%.

Even a lot of the more sensible right see exactly what’s going on, and Romney refuses to release the proof that he didn’t create more problems than he solved. It’s gotten to the point where people think he’s refusing because they can prove he dodged taxes, or even committed various frauds.

But by all means, let’s keep talking about records.

Oh, and getting back on topic: I’d say Palin’s about as sharp as a bag of wet hair, but then I’d have to apologize to the wet hair. Rick seems to like her, though- at least enough to sniff her.

@David Dankberg:

But when you can’t campaign on your record, disseminating bold falsehoods is really all he can do.

President Obama can’t campaign on his record?

Um, why not?

- the unemployment rate has dropped since he took office
- monthly job-creation numbers have gone up
- monthly first-time jobless claims have gone down
- he has signed legislation ensuring fair pay regardless of gender in the workplace
- the troops are home from Iraq
- the war in Afghanistan is winding down
- Osama bin Laden is no longer a threat
- Stimulus kept the US from sliding into a second Great Depression
- bailouts kept two of the Big Three US automakers in business — and creating jobs
- ACA ensures 40+ million Americans will have healthcare coverage

And just think — he did all this despite a Congress that can’t do squat except say “no”, and Mitch McConnell’s stated goal of making him “a one-term President”.

Your turn, Gov. Romney . . .

@doors17:

*We are a country that has been blessed with a wealth of such great speakers in the past like Lincoln, FDR, JFK and many more that could take a few words and turn them into poetic magic.

Today we have Sarah Palin saying the President is “nauseating and disgusting”. Sad, isn’t it?*

I blame reality television.

I’m not a 100% certain, but I think Palin’s contract with Fox expires next month. Does anyone know for sure?

If/when it does, I suspect we won’t be hearing anymore from Twatty/pRick . . .

Doors, I’m still not convinced it’s NOT the Goat.

Robert, we use to have a regular here who went by the name of Escape Goat Nation. Goat would come up with some brilliant and hilarious comments that would make all of us think and laugh at the same time. Many of us were starting to believe that Rick was our Goat playing a gag on us, but since we changed to this new format late last year our Goat has disappeared.

Escape Goat Nation if you’re out there get your butt back here now. Please.

Robert Urban, and anyone else who is new here or don’t know, Rick who use to use the name Tawny has been coming here for the past two or three years reciting the same creepy poetry of Palin. He or she only does so to get a reaction from us. Rick will not respond back to anyone if you try to have a reasonably debate or discussion with it. All we’re accomplishing is feeding exactly what Rick wants.

I, like many have fallen into the trap of making the attempt to do so. I think the best advance I can give to anyone when it comes to Rick/Tawny is just ignore them and let it eventually die of loneness.

I’m not a 100% certain, but I think Palin’s contract with Fox expires next month. Does anyone know for sure?

This ad must have been very effective if Hannity and other Fox talkers have been condemning it so roundly. The ad contains the kind of emotional appeal that right-wingers so love-except when their opponents do it.

Thank you Fox, when the president gets re-elected, it will be because of Sean, Greta. You have all been disrespectful to the president since he was elected.

Gorgeous Gov. Sarah Palin is so chic, charming, courageous, classy, & charismatic, with the Cross of our Saviour nestled against her fair, fragrant bosom, and with her dulcet, delightful voice sweetly sounding like a swift mountain spring rippling across sparkling, shiny stones in a flower-dappled meadow.

You know what is really nauseating? Listening to yet another screechy, whiny personal attack on our President spewing forth from the ignorant mouth of the Whore of Babble-On.

Oooo, goody!!
Palin threads are always lively because some moron always receives the calling to rush to the defense of the Princess of Pithy.
C’mon, stoopits…..let’s hear about her warm, fuzzy goodness. And her great intelligence!

Apologies to my NewsHounds friends for going so far off topic.

While Rene Chang is completely off topic, such craziness should not go unanswered.

“Was Watergate any worse or out of character with the actions of Presidents before and after?”

Yes, by orders of magnitude.

“Why were the culprits arrested at the THIRD attempt to break into Watergate?”

Because they weren’t caught the first two times. We have Frank Wills to thank for the arrest on the 3rd attempt.

“Why did the $100 dollar bills found on the culprits have consecutive serial numbers? Why were Howard Hunt’s details in the address books of TWO of the four arrested Cubans?”

Because while it may not have been a “third rate burglary,” as alleged by WH Press Secretary Ron Zeigler, it was conducted by third rate burglars. They were bumbling and stumbling their way thru’ the whole thing.

“Was Watergate a setup with evidence pointing to the Nixon White House?”

This is the conspiracy theory that’s been gaining traction over the last few years, starting with the book “Silent Coup.” It’s as crazy as the Birther Conspiracy and the 9/11 Conspiracies.

If the whole idea was to bring down Nixon, they could have done a MUCH better job of it. They could have planted clues that would have led directly to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and saved the country 2+ years of agony and spectacle.

“What crucial information was leaked illegally by the member of the grand jury to Carl Bernstein?”"

A Grand Jury that leaked? Gee that’s never happened before, or since.

I don’t know what you’re fishing for here, but could it have been the fact that they Grand Jury wanted to name Nixon as an unindicted co-conspirator? The Grand Jury was advised by the prosecutor they couldn’t name Nixon because a sitting president could not be charged with a crime.

“Why would Nixon pass the FEC Act if he was such a bad egg?”

You might also ask why did he create the EPA if he’s such a bad guy. Possibly because he wasn’t all bad.

“Why would Nixon order the Watergate raid when he was already 26 points ahead of Senator McGovern?”

No one (with any credibility) has ever accused Nixon of having ordered the Watergate break-in.

“Did Nixon resign to protect the Freedom of the Press, a vital component of the US Constitution that he had sworn TWICE on the family bible to defend?”

No. He actually didn’t like the freedoms the press all that much. The Plumbers Unit was created to stop the leaks to the press.

" Is there another possibility that has never been investigated or suspected? Why was the press out to hound and crucify him when other guilty presidents were ‘let off’? It is relatively easy to spread flsehood [sic] as the public has very short memory."

You are silly. We know more about Watergate than just about anything else that has ever happened in ‘Merka. There are literally TONS of books written about Watergate and the FOA act has kicked out every conceivable document related to the scandal. As you say, It is relatively easy to spread falsehoods as the public has a very short memory. It’s especially easy in Watergate because it had so many moving parts and it’s impossible to know them all. You are spreading falsehoods (in the form of questions) like so much manure, hoping that something will sprout.

If you want to continue this OFF TOPIC conversation, why not pop over to my blog where I write about Watergate occasionally?

You know, it’s hard to believe but a Palinista (or should that be a “MILFer for Palin”?) who actually stated a truism in an attack on Obama. True. “David Dankberg” wrote “But when you can’t campaign on your record, disseminating bold falsehoods is really all he can do.” And you know what? It’s true. Unfortunately for the Double-D-man, that same statement applies to Mitt Romney.

As we’ve all seen, Romney’s determined to make his time with Bain “off-limits” for the campaign. He’s determined to make sure his record as Governor of Massachusetts is “off-limits” for the campaign. His tax records are “off-limits.” So, exactly what “record” can Romney campaign on? It doesn’t seem like he’s able to campaign on HIS record so he’s left with “disseminating bold falsehoods.”

Thank you, David, for playing. But you can now go back to whacking off to whatever Sarah Palin pics you have.

Know what I find “nauseating” and “disgusting”?

Fox constantly bringing on the Whore Of Babble-On to endlessly pontificate on matters she clearly has no knowledge of . . . when by rights she should have faded from the national spotlight after resigning midway through her term, if not earlier . . .

Sarah Palin Calls Obama Nauseating, America Replies the Feeling’s Mutual

“Most of all, it is hilarious to watch Palin mount her high horse and try to make President Obama unpopular, when she has set disapproval ratings that may never be touched. After her Paul Revere debacle, Palin’s approval rating fell to 24%.”
