Dennis Miller, one of Fox News’ stable of so-called comedians recast as pundits, made his regular Wednesday night visit to the O’Reilly Factor last night where he responded to O’Reilly’s attack on “shoot out with” Alan Colmes of the night before. Instead of offering any real opinion, Miller used the opportunity to make gratuitous smears of Colmes. The implicit message was: who cares if O'Reilly was right or wrong to call Colmes a "liar" when he (correctly) pointed out spending cuts proposed by President Obama? The only thing that matters to Miller is the opportunity to show his disdain for both of them.
Here's what Miller said when asked for his reaction:
Billy, you know, actually, to be truthful, I don’t watch the Colmes segment because I find him to be an obstinate contrarian. I think he’s an under-informed by a third Obama groupie, I think he goes on and on, drones with the Democratic talking points to the point where I sometimes think he makes parrots look like improv artists. And, on a weekly basis, you seem inordinately palsy-walsy with him. So I don’t watch. Why, did I miss something?
Charming.
Apparently, O’Reilly thought so. He chuckled and said he’s “palsy-walsy with everybody." O'Reilly added, "You know me, Mr. Walsy.” Which I’d say was funnier than anything Miller had to say.
Miller later admitted he “obviously watched” the segment that day. So his smear wasn't just disrespectful to a fellow Fox colleague, it was dishonest, too.
Just please don’t ever use our beloved messiah President Obama name in vain.
Now if you’ll excuse me I have to read up on my left wing talking points and make some cherry kool-aid and then praise baby Jesus for giving us our President for another four wonderful, fabulous years. Makes you feel all patriotic inside don’t it?
No?
Neither am I.
Dennis is once again kissing Bill’s ass and his boo-boo so he can continue to appear on the show to help promote his radio program. Both deserve each other.
