Fox’s Lou Dobbs didn’t just blame President Obama and other black officials for the unrest in Baltimore, he specifically cited their race as part of the problem.
On his Fox Business Network show, Dobbs spent a lot of time on the non-business topic of the violence in Baltimore. In one discussion, he hosted Fox News contributor Dr. Keith Ablow, the psychiatrist who regularly holds forth about President Obama’s pathological hatred for America – despite never having examined him.
Dobbs used his phony-neutral guest for a typical Fox News tag team of propaganda.Ablow started blaming Obama for the Baltimore riots and then Dobbs used that anti-Obama opinion to make it racial. Ablow, in turn, blamed Obama further, this time for setting a Bad Black Man example.
DOBBS: I’d like to begin with what drives, in your judgment, a police department and a mayor, who basically have given a free pass to those who are tearing up property, and injuring others, including law enforcement?
ABLOW: What drives them is a lack of respect for the foundation of governing and the foundation of law upon which this nation rests. Contempt for such things and a kind of tacit acceptance that protests can be violent because people are so frustrated. But the bottom line, Lou, is that if you want to change things, you work within the system, that’s the way it has always been. If you want to tear down the system, you might be taking your cues, by the way, from a president who has given the appearance that there is every justification for any level of anger at our country because we’re such despicable people.
DOBBS: It is certainly a disappointing choice on the part of this president. An African American president, our nation’s first, an African American attorney general, our nation’s second, African American mayor of Baltimore, an African American commissioner of police and the tepid manner and the halting manner in which they have chosen to deal with these criminals….
ABLOW …As you can see, psychology reigns supreme. The fellow in the corner office is very unsettled about whether this country ought to be honored or ought to be fundamentally changed because it’s such a bad place. Hey, that filters down to people who then have no respect for what we’ve built together.
In another segment on the same show, Dobbs told Fox News’ Bo Dietl, “It is sort of a signal that there is a war on law enforcement in this country and it was frankly, in my judgment, corroborated, if not condoned by this administration, the acts of the Attorney General, himself, Eric Holder.”
Yes, if only more white people (like Rudy Giuliani) were in charge in Baltimore and in Washington, we wouldn’t have so many Blacks Behaving Badly!

He’s an extraordinarily pompous man himself, and he reacts to Obama’s professorial demeanor like a teenage boy rebelling against his father. Obama does very often have an “I know better than you” manner, and that’s intolerable to Dobbs, whose entire identity is based on knowing better than everybody else.

Are they just racist or is their more to it than just the hate?The hate they spread with their TV outlet try’s to split your country apart into us and them.I know they blame Obama for the riots because he’s a democrat, but I also believe they take it over the top because Obama is black. Because in their logic since Obama is black he must be cheering on the rioters. Just when you think fox has reached the bottom of the gutter, they manage to go even lower. Disgusting people.
