Bob Beckel tweeted a cryptic message asking forgiveness for “some things” he said on The Five and that “Fox boss not happy.” He tweeted that on a day when Beckel was conspicuously absent from the show. So why didn’t Beckel say what he regrets having said?
Here’s the tweet:
Mediaite noted that it was Beckel’s first tweet in about a month and offered three possible reasons for Beckel’s regret:
- Beckel called for one of his own producers “to be hung”.
- Beckel claimed he’d “done dope” in the White House, like Snoop.
- Beckel dropped the slur “Chinaman” on national television (for which he subsequently apologized).
Actually, Beckel’s “Chinaman” apology was about as phony as the “fair and balanced” motto of his employer.
And Mediaite left out Beckel’s recent comment about TV’s The Bachelorette: “She’s a slut.” (It’s currently a contender for our Outrageous Quote of the Week.)
Knowing Fox, my money is on saying the producers should “be hung” for distorting Hillary Clinton’s comments about Gaza. And, frankly, it's the worst of the bad lot.
Regardless, this latest apology from Beckel leaves another sour taste in my mouth. If he doesn’t want to say publicly what he’s apologizing for, then send a private apology to his bosses. If he wants to apologize to his viewers, he should let us know what he’s sorry for. Otherwise, I just don’t buy it.
First, let’s call out a few. We will start off with the Nixon trainee Ailes. His so-called “diversity” training program is a joke. Have these minority students seen the faces of Fox “News” hosts? Unless they are blonde and white, the odds of them hosting their own show is nil. Forget Harris, she’s only a token.
Next, we have these morons behind this Long Island Lolito’s show. Sometimes we wonder if Lolito is the boss, not them. This young Barbie that follows him around like a puppy is a hoot. Lolito can tell her to fetch his shoes, and she would do it. FinFin acts more like an employee of Lolito than a producer.
The next guy is based in the D.C. bureau. We hesitate calling him a “managing editor” because he’s a complete idiot who should have taken a second career writing fiction.
You can blame Fox and Friends’ content on this nerd, the “G Man.” Based on his 50s look, you can see why this so-called show, and its hosts are despicable.
No surprise that a majority of the suits and amateur producers at this fraudulent “news” outlet lean conservative.
Fox “News” senior executives, managing editors, senior producers, and producers are 100% responsible for the garbage aired. We blame them all for dirtying the airwaves with misinformed crap.
Create a villain
Fox “News” hosts portray themselves as heroes (Republicans) fighting against an enemy, or villain (Democrats and liberals). This is the script that is used primarily in all Fox “News” shows. The knight in shining armor approach is one of the reasons that keeps them number 1 in the ratings.
The on-air shouting matches are fake. According to the executive suits, these matches between the hosts and contributors bring in viewers. When someone is channel surfing, and sees a shouting match on tv, they will stop and watch that program. It’s all a marketing move.
The hiring of the blonde Barbies in short skirts is another marketing move to attract male viewers. One word comes to mind-sexploitation. These broads are in no position to talk about morals (persecuted Christians) when they allow the bosses to dress them like upscale call girls. Yeah, we said it.
Beckel is frustrated with these third-rate, paranoid executives, senior producers/producers whose only goal is to boss the hosts around “You can’t say this, you can’t say that…” His outbursts lately is due to the crap he has to deal with daily with these fools.
Beckel should quit this farce of a “news” network, before the idiot suits drive him off the wagon.
The suits do read News Hounds, and the comment sections, but we don’t give a rip what they say, or think. They are all worthless cafeteria Catholics.
NOTE TO FOX “NEWS” PRODUCERS
Amateurs, you couldn’t produce a rabbit out of a hat.
“Mr. Ailes, it’s important that you realize the following: When I eat, I’m me!”
— the immortal words of the late great Dom DeLuise from the classic 1980 comedy “Fatso”.
:^)
Still, I bet you’re right that it’s the thing that honked the suits off.
If this ultimately leads to them ditching him altogether, it wouldn’t be soon enough for me. He’s a freakin’ embarrassment to himself, the network and Democrats.
