Bill O’Reilly’s latest salvo in his war against San Francisco didn’t go so well. You may recall O’Reilly got a public rebuke from Fox News’ own Bernard Goldberg after Fox's Jesse Watters tried to hijack a city supervisors’ meeting. Now, another producer tried to ambush city officials and got his just desserts.
O’Reilly’s and Fox's exploitation of Kathryn Steinle’s murder to mount a war on immigration and San Francisco is such a priority that yesterday’s nuclear deal with Iran was put on the back burner. Even though it’s a deal O’Reilly basically supports. And it’s not as if there was anything new in the Steinle or immigration story.
But for some reason, O’Reilly felt compelled to air the San Francisco smackdown of Fox. So he showed a Fox News reporter or producer ambushing a series of San Francisco public officials, only to be brushed off - and worse - by each one.
Supervisor Katy Tang told the reporter, “Of course Fox News would be this rude,” when she was ambushed. When the Fox reporter continued to badger her after she walked away, Tang said, “You’re interviewing the wrong f***ing person.”
Another city supervisor, Scott Wiener, responded to the ambush by saying, “Fox News is not real news and you’re not a reporter. I talk to real news only. Fox News is not real news.”
“What a pinhead,” O’Reilly said. Then, proving yet again that he and Fox hate just about any part of America that disagrees with them, he sneered, “There comes a point where people get the government they deserve. That has surely happened in San Francisco. The ultra-left controls the city and an innocent woman, Kate Steinle, is dead because of policies that endanger the public.”
O’Reilly also went on to liken Salon.com to Stormfront… showing a bit more of his brand of patriotism. I’ll have more on that in a later post.
But in the meanwhile, watch San Francisco officials give Fox News exactly what it deserves, from the July 14 The O’Reilly Factor.
The listed and accepted definitions of a political conservative and a political liberal, with examples… isn’t fact to Gerald. Things I told him he can Google aren’t fact. Examples of what’s going on now aren’t fact.
But braying rhetoric like “employment is not down, because they aren’t counting people who aren’t looking”… Apparently is fact, even though
A) that’s a discredited statement, that was so easily discredited, they did it just by reading a BLS report out loud, and
B) it was a theory before it was disproven. Nice to know that calling something a theory can discredit it to Gerald, but being an actual discredited theory doesn’t even slow him down when it’s his own yap running. And what’s this shit about full time/ Part time? Did Gerald just never read a BLS report? It talks about full time, part time, and seasonal hirings all in depth, and what they mean as a trend for the quarter.
That’s part of how simply reading one of these things destroyed that load, Gerald- Because the biggest part of the claim is right on one, (sometimes literally) in red ink.
This isn’t just biased, misinformed, or uneducated on the issues- This is straight up “It’s only a fact if it serves my prejudice!”. I’m done with this- Life’s too short to hear crap I debunked years ago thrown back at me. Especially from someone who acts like being educated is an insult, and that the word “theory” is an excuse to just double down on what he chose to believe, instead of asking why.
Now this: "Redistricting? Making the ID law argument about black voters? The “free stuff” argument? Proposing bringing back the tests for blacks? This has all happened in the last two years, and you know which party’s doing it? " don’t stop your on a roll, what the fuck are you babbling about? Your just making inflammatory statements to fill space, which is usually empty in between the ears of liberals. How does anyone answer all this BS, but I am guessing that is the point, to throw so much shit and I do say shit at the wall that something will stick. You obviously are so drunk on the koolaid that you will never find your way back, so be happy in lala land as I am not going to argue with someone that makes half arguments and tons of disconnected statements, you have no point, there is no focus to what you wrote, it runs all over the map, like some lunatic rant. I know your angry it is the perpetual state of the liberals. As fas anything this country has been under a far left democrat for 6.5 years and it is fallen to shit, the middle class shrunk, the average income shrunk but OOOOOh we have Obama Care, and my coverage is now worse but I pay 30% more and my deductibles have doubled. It is not even arguable that race relations are worse sense he got into office, we have more people per capita on assistance then at anytime outside of the great depression. The work participation rate that came out last month shows that it is the worst in 38 years. So how great is that democracy? How is the savior democrat Barack Obama? I am glad they are so good at what we do, if not we might be on our way to be just like Greece, Oh wait we are. Over 40% of the money this country pays every month is interest on the money we owe. This administration has spent more money then all, I said ALL other presidents combined, we are for all intents and purposes broke, they just keep lending us money hoping we will pull out of it. You know what’s funny the bubble that burst that crashed the economy was laws enacted by a democrat BIll Clinton, but funnier is we didn’t learn our lesson and the real estate bubble is back and at some point it will burst again.
A liberal (or, to a lesser extent, a progressive) is someone that advances us to keep moving forward, to not be complacent with the state of society, because there are always elements where it needs to be improved.
A conservative (or, to a greater extent, a Libertarian) is someone who thinks things are just fine the way they are, often because they have the long end of the stick, and are afraid any degree of change or social justice will take a slice from their pie. The only change they want is ones they personally benefit from.
Republicans and Democrats are two parties- Both of which have been on both sides of the fence, more than once. Both sides have ever walk of political life, it’s just who has more of what. And you can say A is a hypocrite on this, B is a hypocrite on that, but here’s the thing: Saying that is proof that you don’t want to look at what’s going on now.
Them: Democrats were against the black vote leading up to the 14th amendment! That proves their racism!
Me: Redistricting? Making the ID law argument about black voters? The “free stuff” argument? Proposing bringing back the tests for blacks? This has all happened in the last two years, and you know which party’s doing it?
Politics is a “Now” medium- When you catch them, you deal with it NOW. When someone brings up the past, the question is if it’s still happening NOW. Do they still support that NOW? Do they regret how it ended NOW?
And it’s funny how Gerald is repeating the whole “Democrats voted against Civil Rights” meme, because I seem to remember trolls trying that a while back, and I linked them to the 1965 and 1967 votes- Democrat majorities, and even transposing the numbers, a far larger number of Democrats voted for them than against them. And, as said before… Almost every Republican for it became a Democrat. Almost Every Democrat against it became a Republican.
Democrats have put the racist beats of their past behind them, and distance themselves from racists in their ranks when they out one. Republicans not only embrace their racism, but they promote it. Donald Trump made incredibly racist comments and proposals, he’s leading the polls by three points. The other candidates are making racist comments and proposals to match him, and it’s closing the gap.
Any thoughts on that, Gerald? Or do you wanna sit around and talk history that the newest item is about to turn 70, while proving you don’t know the difference between political platforms and ideology?
And one last thing: Good for you on that you’d have voted for Ben Carson. I’m sure you’ll remember how often you tell people that when you cast your vote for Donald Trump, or Scott Walker- Just like all the other early Primary screamers that claim Carson’s their man, but don’t support any of his pages on social media, and only trumpet Trump/Walker, until they’re called on the more racist parts of both men’s platforms. I’m sure Carson appreciates the shit out of that kind of support.
You don’t have a clue and I love how the first thing a whining fringe lefty does is start calling people names right at the get go, to intimidate, they never have actual facts, so name calling is the first option, that and party taking points. But because they don’t know the whole truth their arguments never hold up for long. So they make the conversation unpalatable with the hope that they win by forfeit. The Civil Rights act LOSER was voted down by LBJ when he was a senator, when he became president the republican party passed the bill, since they had a majority he decided to take the win and take credit for it. But he originally voted against it. and again what does this have to do with all the votes before this, what you said has no bearing on the argument whatsoever like so much the whining left does. Let’s get rid of the confederate flag, lets spend tons of money with people protesting and lawmakers in congress debating etc etc etc fucking etc, and not one child will be fed from this, not one minority will get a job from this, the left is all about rhetoric and symbols, it allows them to say they did something without doing anything. Big Deal you attacked a flag an won, Yea! No actual forward movement at all, but the left doesn’t want that they want the black to stay in chains.
Hence, when you ask a viewer “who is the most trusted name in news?” They will answer the outlet who uses it as their slogan.
That’s what an advertising slogan does: it gets in people’s heads, but it’s not “true”.
Nice try at twisting history around. But you fail, asswipe, because you are not a very smart person.
So what does the left do, they promote lawlessness and you know what, people get hurt, but see the left loves this, they love to divide the people it doesn’t matter if it is race or sexual orientation or religion they love it, then people don’t rely on themselves they rely on the government. People united are strong divided are weak and easy to control. In the end you don’t give them a problem, they won’t arrest you, but I understand the left and common sense are strangers.
“As for ratings? Remember when Fox came in dead last for coverage of Reagan’s funeral? how they’re usually last, or close to last for major trial verdicts? How they almost never score above 4th for major House addresses because people know they’ll only show a small portion of it? Yeah… Fox News never sweeps the ratings on development of a real story, they’ve even had weeks where some shows lost 3 or 4 days the weeks of those stories in the ratings… " this entire paragraph is un-adulterated BS and don’t quote some shit from the rag we are writing in, I gave you 2 examples one from left leaning author neither from FOX and they completely contradict you. You need to stop making up bs for the left, you need to stop drinking the koolaid, who do do you think is watching and trusting FOX (according to rating from independent agencies the majority of the country meaning not you and your lunatic fringe)"
Let’s remember a bit about the left, all of this you can google.
The republican party was formed from the Whig party and the people that left the democratic party to fight for the abolishment of slavery, so the repbulican party was formed to fight slavery, so
The democrats brought us the KKK.
They brought us “Planned Parenthood” through it’s founder Margaret Sanger an advocate for Eugenics, you know what that is right? the controlled decision of what children live and die to further improve the gene pool. (look it up she is a sweetie) Recently the organization was just caught selling baby parts (well makes sense considering) read up on her, wonderful woman, a democrat., Hillary said she is inspiring.
The democrats voted against:
The abolishment of slavery
The right for blacks to become citizens
The right for blacks to vote
The Civil Rights Act
The only thing that the democrats do for the black community is give them another set of chains.
Welfare and other programs that do not further the ambition to succeed and take care of yourself. They want them living off the gifts from the government, this guarantees their loyalty.
They have convinced the black community that they are the party for them, imagine that, after that history, they are some incredibly talented liars. So now it has gotten to the point that they just know who the black community is going to vote for, they take them for granted. Like I said another set of chains. It is so bad that as soon as some black person actually thinks for themselves and votes conservative they are outcast, intimidated, called uncle tom and other unsavory monikers. So go ahead and keep repeating the doctrine of the peoples socialist republic of America. They will love you for it, as they reach into your back pocket for your wallet.
When McKinney happened, they called on a locally known racist, who had been arrested multiple times- Once for torturing animals, and let him paint all black people as thugs for 15 minutes. That’s literally their coverage, since they used his word to continue their coverage, long after he was discredited.
When Steinle happened, they ignored every tough question like how he was on criminal probation instead of prison or deportation for his fifth felony drug offense in Texas (it was his second felony offense there,) how he was allowed to go to San Francisco while on criminal probation, why he wasn’t shipped back to Texas to face parole violation charges, how he obtained the gun… But it sure did allow them to say that trump’s racist generalizations of Mexicans is right, so let’s start cutting all existing reforms and amnesty! In fact, that’s all I really see their coverage doing.
Oh, and regarding your BS about the poor, persecuted police? The majority of important people in my life are affiliated with the police, and I’ve met a lot of cops in my day. A lot of them are high school bullies with a badge, and when a Wilson/Panteleo/Slager cop gets promoted to or above a certain position, turning a blind to profiling/violence becomes a job requirement. You ignore it until it’s news, and when it’s news, you don’t speak up. It’s their version of “bros before hos.”
As for ratings? Remember when Fox came in dead last for coverage of Reagan’s funeral? how they’re usually last, or close to last for major trial verdicts? How they almost never score above 4th for major House addresses because people know they’ll only show a small portion of it? Yeah… Fox News never sweeps the ratings on development of a real story, they’ve even had weeks where some shows lost 3 or 4 days the weeks of those stories in the ratings… Yet were still somehow named #1, anyways. And funny how “ratings” never matter," and “the left is obsessed with ratings” when we ask how a show like say, Hannity could come in 2nd or 3rd 60% of the business week, yet be named 1st, anyways, as opposed to the show that beat him those three days- While crowing about Hannity being #1 for another week.
Yeah, imagine that. It’s almost like people only tune in for the barnyard.
Here is the Washington Post Polls results
Here is Quinnipac University Poll Results
So apparently not many people share your rather liberal( pun intended) approach to the truth.
So your statements are another example of the left and how it attempts to manipulate and defame anyone that disagrees with their far left progressive agenda. FOX has the viewership to enlighten people to the malevolent practices of the left and it’s followers, I would daresay the left at points looks like a cult, especially when you see (choke cough sputter) reporting like this.
“Do you think Fox “News” should have terminated Billy’s contract for sexual harassment of a staffer?"
“The way Billy treated his ex-wife Fox “News” should do a story on him."
We guarantee Billy would nix those segments.
