Rupert Murdoch Wants Guinness Boycotted Over St. Patrick's Day Parade Pullout

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on March 17, 2014 · Flag

Rupert Murdoch stuck his nose into New York City politics today by "hoping" Irish people boycott Guinness. Why? Because they pulled out of the St. Patrick's Day Parade over its exclusion of gay and lesbian groups. Or, as Murdoch put it, Guinness pulled out of a "religious parade bullied by gay orgs who try to take it over."

Murdoch tweeted:

Judging from the responses, I don't think Guinness has much to worry about.

Media Matters points out, "Murdoch's attack on Guinness' pro-equality stance comes after Fox News personalities repeatedly assailed New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for not participating in the event and justified the parade's anti-gay discrimination by citing the existence of gay pride parades."

Mashup video from Media Matters below.

@Daithí Lochlainn Pardon me — as much as I agree with your feelings about Herr Goebbels II (i.e. Murdoch), like it or not here is a COLD, HARD FACTS: according to http://www.wikipedia.org Rupert Murdoch has been a FULL FLEDGED AMERICAN CITIZEN since September 1985 — his U.S. citizenship application was FAST-TRACKED by his dear late friend Ronald Wilson Reagan. Therefore, HE CANNOT BE DEPORTED.

Can’t the U.S. State Department revoke his American passport for mentioning the parade after March 17th?

labman-that’s it entirely: those who want to exclude others play the ‘victim card’ when other people merely don’t follow along quietly with their bigotry. Its the playbook of bullies all over the world.

Sam Adams and Heineken also pulled out of the parade.

If you ever wondered why Fux Noise spews out 24/7 bigotry and hatred, just read a few tweets from its founding daddy Wrinkled Murdick.

@ scooter AMEN 1000 TIMES!! Since it’s St. Patrick’s Day, I’m going to my local watering hole tonight and the first thing I’m going to do is defy and flip that longtime skinhead NAZI Herr Goebbels II (i.e. Murdoch) the bird by ordering a Guinness STOUT!

;^)

Asking the Irish to boycott Guinness is like asking fish to boycott water.

Personally I don’t care what Mr. Murdoch says about anything. That slimy beast can slink off to hell for all I care. His demise will make the earth a better place.
