Last week, I thought Roger Ailes' day was probably ruined with the news that Gabriel Sherman's unauthorized biography, The Loudest Voice in the Room, had become a New York Times Bestseller. Well, it looks like Ailes' entire month, if not year, has just been ruined now. Mother Jones is reporting that the book, which is more than a sore point with Ailes, will likely be made into a movie.
As I wrote last week, Ailes has done his best to sabotage the book. But not only has that effort failed, the book may be succeeding beyond his worst fears.
Mother Jones writer Asawin Suebsaeng did a little digging after reading some coy remarks by Sherman about bringing his book to the big screen:
The idea of a Hollywood epic chronicling the saga of Ailes was intriguing, so I poked around a little: a source with knowledge of the situation says that folks in Hollywood have indeed expressed interest in developing Sherman's book into a film.
Stay tuned!
