Poor Steven Crowder. First, he was attacked by the meanies on the left for making what he called a joke at CPAC about Ashley Judd's "obsession with rape." After all, she's only a three-time rape survivor, so why shouldn't a guy like Crowder be able to mock her concerns without people getting their nose out of joint? And now, less than a week later, a Michigan prosecutor has declined to prosecute the "thugs" who "sucker-punched" him. Why? Because after reviewing an unedited video - i.e. not the one Crowder showed off on Fox News - the prosecutor concluded he wasn't telling the truth. Get out your hankies, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to book Crowder a room in Jon Stewart's GOP Special Victims Unit!
From the Lansing State Journal's LSJ.com:
(Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III) said today the first video his office reviewed had been edited. After reviewing an unedited clip, he decided to not pursue the case.
“It’s pretty clear the person that they wanted to charge was acting in self-defense,” Dunnings said of the union member who apparently slugged Crowder.
...
Dunnings questioned why Crowder didn’t initially provide that original footage to Dunnings’ office.
“I’m not holding that against him, but why would they provide the edited video? The longer video clearly shows the guy got pushed down and came up swinging,” Dunnings said.
Good question. And while there's no doubt Fox News will stick by his side (after all they never abandoned Andrew Breitbart despite his phony videos), those meanie lefties will probably feel vindicated, especially since Crowder has admitted he and/or his allies first pushed the guy who later punched him.
I can just imagine the pain Crowder will suffer knowing that most people will think his stunt - whose purpose was to "prove the left and "union thugs" "for who they truly are" - got him punched in the face for nothing.

I’d be very interested to see if the DA wants to file any charges against Crowder for filing a false report, or if the guy he attacked wants to sue him for defamation, etc. Crowder may have opened up a can of worms he wishes he hadn’t…
Well, I guess I’m not really surprised at this outcome as there was definitely something very suspicious about the way his video “evidence” was edited. That’s what he gets for attempting such a duplicitous O’Keefe-esque stunt. Gawd, I can’t stop laughing.
Prosecutors should have charged Crowder for making a false statement to law enforcement. He needs to be punished for lying.
NOTE TO CROWDER
Silly little boy, grow up and man up!
