Outrageous Fox News Quote Of The Week Poll: November 30 - December 5

Last week was a serious, somber week for our country but that didn’t stop the Fox News crazy. From Peter Johnson, Jr. wondering if the San Bernardino attack was a “literal war on Christmas,” to a Fox business expert announcing, “There’s zero global warming,” you could fall on the floor laughing – except that none of this is any joke.

Check out the nominees and then cast your vote for the most outrageous Fox News quote last week.

Bill O’Reilly, after his guest suggested everybody tone down inflammatory rhetoric after the Planned Parenthood mass shooting:

"I’m not tonin’ it down, alright? Planned Parenthood deceitfully started an industry where they were selling the body parts of aborted fetuses or babies, depending on your point of view, alright? They didn’t want the public to know it, they were doing it for money and they deserve every single thing they got, all exposure, all the reportage. …It’s barbaric! …I’m not toning anything down!"

Peter Johnson, Jr., speculating on the cause of the San Bernardino shooting at a holiday party:

"Is it based on politics? Is it based on religion? Is it based on hate? Is it a literal war on Christmas?"

Andrea Tantaros:

"Nobody wants to talk about who has the higher body count: the doctors at Planned Parenthood or the jihadists."

Meghan McCain discussing New York City requirements for certain restaurants to have warning labels about high-salt menu items.

“I'm like, I might as well be shooting black tar heroin at this point, if they want to put more labels on it. Because that's what they equate eating fast food or anything to."

Gary B. Smith, Fox News business expert turned climate scientist:

"In the last 17 years, there’s zero global warming."

Jeanine Pirro, fear mongering about Islamic terrorists:

"They’re here and it’s time, time to stop pussyfooting around, time to stop this politically incorrect nonsense, worrying about other people’s feelings, pull out all the stops and start fighting for the survival of this country and our way of life.

You need to make a plan: how you’re going to protect yourself, your family and your kids. And this is not about politics. It’s about being safe. It’s about surviving.

The plan? Number one: Get a gun. Buy one legally, learn how to shoot it and be primed to use it. And I don’t care if you get a long gun, a hand gun, a revolver, a semi-automatic – get whatever gun you can handle. And don’t let anyone talk you out of it."

There's still time to vote in our Outrageous Quote of the Week poll.

I cast my vote for Junior O’Reilly. Using his inflaming rhetoric in the hope that he can inspire another Scott Roeder. After Dr. Tiller’s assassination, Junior O’Reilly likely didn’t need his Viagra for for several months.

I’d have gone with Pirro without reading/listening because she’s always a safe bet, but just for that reason, I decided to look further. O’Reilly could be considered dangerous, but it’s hard to imagine anyone under the age of 75 listening to him. Smith’s special stupidity was blunted as part of a panel discussion, McCain was reaching, because, she’s… McCain, and it was too early for Johnson’s Xmas war to gain any real traction. That leaves Tantaros, and, although PP attacks are getting old, she showed remarkable creativity in updating hers to new Foxie relevancy. Thus, she earned my vote.

What’s truly amazing is the wide range of hatred displayed by the ‘contestants’ this week. Everything from food spices to global warming, with stupid stops at Christmas, Planned Parenthood and, of course, guns. These aren’t happy people, are they?
Yes, I agree with Bemused…Peter Johnson deserves special credit for creativity and lunacy. McCain was close behind, though.

I’m going to have to go with Bill O’Reilly because he’s actually dangerous. Seriously.

Forget the Planned Parenthood sting videos have been repeatedly investigated and the assertion Planned Parenthood is profiting from selling ‘baby parts’ has been completely debunked. Why forget-about-it? Because we know Fox News right-wing talking heads will spew any bulls—t to promote their agenda.

What’s dangerous is O’Reilly’s lie-based demagoguery is stirring up the right-wing paranoid crazies who we know buy lots of big guns to compensate for the itsy bitsy penises.

Since the tin foil hat GOPTV™ crowd are frustrated searching for blue helmeted U.N. troops crossing our border with Mexico, waiting for Jade Helm to rise up to crown Obama king, and haven’t seen a black helicopter circling their fear bunker in a while, they’re now looking for boogeymen to act out against.

Yeah, I’m overflowing with sarcasm as usual but don’t mistake this for me not being serious. As proved by the Planned Parenhood shooting, these nutjobs are dangerous and Fox News is fomenting their angst.

The rest of these quotes? Sure they’re outrageous.

Pirro is habitually a worse demagogue than even O’Reilly but all she’s doing is filling in for crackpot Glenn Beck who used to pimp fear bunkers and ‘food safety’ products for the Great Apocalypse.

Gary B. is simply a comical idiot as is the always goofy Peter Johnson, Jr..

Megan McCain? She’s so crazy if she were shooting heroin would anyone notice?

Had to go with Peter Johnson for crafting one of the most mind-boggling quantum jumps I’ve ever read. Had I heard that myself, I’d need a chiropractor to put my jaw back in place.
Jeannine Pirro came a close second for being so mind-bogglingly stupid. I do sincerely hope that she is present to “participate” in one of the crossfires that will inevitably happen. I somehow don’t think she’ll like that very much.
