It’s so unfair when the media plays videos and soundclips of what Herr Trump says!

We have an excellent progressive radio station here in Chicago (WCPT) and from the local call-ins that I heard during the previous 2 weeks it was pretty easy to ascertain that a larger protest than usual was being organized. I’m sure that the Trump organization and the CPD were well aware and prepared also.
IMHO, I think what happened was a good thing that may FINALLY get the media to cover Trump and his tactics critically rather than as if this was another episode of one of his brain-dead reality shows. Maybe it will also motivate the youth vote.
I was also very impressed by the behavior of the police which seemed exemplary. However, I’m sure that they knew ahead of time that the eyes of the nation would be on them.
If they want to blame Obama, let them. It worked out so well for them when they derisively called the ACA ‘Obamacare’, didn’t it?

IMHO, the town hall format, which doesn’t allow Hillary or Bernie onstage together, will work in Fox’ favor: Fox will be able to concentrate on ripping each of the candidates individually.
A HUGE mistake on the part of both candidates, and another ratings bonanza for Fox. WTF is wrong with the Democrats??

I’m thinking that anyone who feels that Bernie is doing the prudent thing by appearing on Fox needs to review the interview that Bret Baier did with President Obama.Bernie is likely doing this Town Hall in order to appeal to those in the Fox base that won’t vote Trump. Fox, OTOH, will use this as an opportunity to destroy any potential competition for their ‘guy’.
Bernie may be good, but I fear he may have underestimated the malevolence of Fox.

It will be interesting to hear Trump’s reactions to the Mitch McConnell & Paul Ryan statements of today.
