Bernie Sanders To Do Fox News Town Hall On Monday

I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing. What do you think? UPDATED

Bernie Sanders will participate in a one-hour town hall on Fox News on Monday, marking the first such Democratic event on the news network this cycle.

Hillary Clinton was invited to participate as well, but was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, the network said.

Bret Baier will be the host. The town hall will be in Detroit, one day before what The New York Times calls the "pivotal" Michigan primary. Clinton appears to have a strong lead over Sanders in Michigan.

Regular readers know I'm a strong supporter of Democrats and liberals going on Fox - when they muscularly counter its agenda rather than pander.

Here's hoping Sanders will tell Baier just what he can do with the Fox Trumpenstein monster, Hillary's emails and Benghazi.

UPDATE: Hillary Clinton will participate.

Hopefully this event is live ,if not, I hope it is taped while being taped in the event that we will know the real truth of this sorry event ,we all know how disreputable these Fox people are ,if they do one thing well ,it is Lying .So, “caution” Bernie and Hillary you will be entering “The all spin zone”.

It’s being reported on Mediaite that Hillary will attend the town hall hosted by FOX “news” after all.

Bad move. No Democrat or anyone who is not a FOXBOT will get a fair hearing on this propaganda channel. They will twist anything he says to suit their agenda. FOX should be shunned entirely by all Democratic candidates. Ignore them, do not give them any possible ammo.

I’m thinking that anyone who feels that Bernie is doing the prudent thing by appearing on Fox needs to review the interview that Bret Baier did with President Obama.Bernie is likely doing this Town Hall in order to appeal to those in the Fox base that won’t vote Trump. Fox, OTOH, will use this as an opportunity to destroy any potential competition for their ‘guy’.
Bernie may be good, but I fear he may have underestimated the malevolence of Fox.
