Fox has run a very successful campaign to convince their base that Trayvon (walking while black) was the criminal and Zimmerman (white name, with a gun) was defending white people from a dangerous thief.
The bottom line, though, is that it doesn’t take much effort to convince that base of anything. The real problem is that nothing has been done to quell the anger of the black community. In fact, the actions of Fox have had quite the opposite effect…and I fear it’s intentional.
