Mark Fuhrman: Not Much Difference Between 'Muslim' And 'Radical Muslim'

Posted by Ellen -7841.60pc on May 07, 2013 · Flag

Megyn Kelly had a jaw-dropping discussion with Mark Fuhrman yesterday in which he decided - without objection from Kelly - that the American widow of presumed Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, Katherine Russell, is not just guilty of something (we don’t know what but it had to be something) without benefit of a trial but should lose her parental rights, too. In the meanwhile, Fuhrman let slip that he doesn't think there's much difference between "Muslim" and "radical Muslim."

As I noted about another Fox News segment in which Fuhrman appeared as an expert in the Boston Marathon case, according to Fox News’ profile of him, he’s a “forensic and crime scene expert.” There is nothing to indicate an expertise in terrorism, tracking down terrorism or radical Islam. However, Fuhrman does have quite a reputation as a bigot. And although Megyn Kelly does not share his infamy on the subject, she should. Just the fact that Kelly – a lawyer – would turn to a disgraced ex-policeman to ask if Russell should lose her parental rights speaks volumes about a not-so-hidden agenda for the subject.

But first, the two engaged in a little Islamophobia. This, less than a week after Fuhrman advocated more open antipathy to Muslims. Speaking about Russell, Fuhrman said,

How do we know that she wasn’t the first to be really radicalized?”

…Now these two brothers, they were already Muslims. It wasn’t much of a leap for them to become radicalized. But her? That is a complete change of life, family, everything else.

If you thought it bothered Kelly that Fuhrman had said there wasn’t much distance between “Muslim” and “radical Muslim,” think again. She said:

Just the choice in itself you’re saying was more radical, in terms of going from this American life where she was a Christian to wearing the hijab and alienating herself from all of her friends and suddenly observing, you know, all of the Muslim customs and observations while married, now we know, to a terrorist.

Fuhrman was really on a roll now. Before she has even been formally accused - much less found guilty - Fuhrman adjudged Russell complicit in the bombing on top of being an unfit mother.

You can change religions and become a Muslim but you don’t have to become a Muslim in the way that you’re so radicalized that you change everything about your life. And she continues to dress this way. …Her ideology was actually real… She refuses to cooperate and now you have explosive residue in her apartment. …Of course she knew about it.

…She’s obviously radicalized, she’s not cooperating, the bomb was obviously in her apartment. …You take that child away because she is not capable of providing a safe haven for that child. And certainly being involved with Tamerlan regardless of what she did or didn’t do with this terrorist attack, certainly she had very little regard to her daughter… and she knew his radical views, she left the daughter with him… She crossed the line. She decided to be with a terrorist instead of her daughter.

Kelly is the one with a law degree but she never objected to this trial and verdict by punditry. In fact, she seemed to approve.

As long as the child isn’t being abused or neglected, the state has NO basis upon which to seek custody. Being involved in a criminal investigation does not fit the definition of abuse or neglect. Kelly, an attorney, should know that.

Antoinette, I’d willing to hire him to BE a laundry mat. (I believe the term you were looking for is “laundromat,” a synonym for a “launderette”—a commercial laundry service, typically a self-service operation using coin-operated machines. My reference to “laundry mat” would be a mat at the front door to or on the floor of such an establishment.)

Given his background, we would not hire this ex-cop to run a laundry mat.

No difference between Murder Inc. kingpin and FNC Killer O’Reilly.

By his logic, there isn’t much of a differnece between a skinhead and a Tea Partier. Especially in Arizona and Pennsylvania, where they elect skinhead leaders to office.

I’d say there is the same amount of difference between a “Christian” and a “radical Christian”. Mark must have some (non-radical) “Christian” friends. How much does he differ from them? He should ask.

Some say that MarKKK Fuhrman and Megyn KKKelly despise Moo-slims almost as much as they despise African-Americans.

Fox News: the network that hearts Mark Fuhrman's bigotry.
