Fox News’ Katie Pavlich used Valentine’s Day to spread a little more of her bigoted hate mongering. In one tweet, she smeared Muslims and made a nasty little jab that feigned solidarity with out lesbian Sally Kohn.
It started with Kohn’s tweet yesterday in which she wondered if the U.S. media would cover the shooting killings by a Muslim in Denmark more quickly and thoroughly than the shooting of Muslims by an atheist in North Carolina:
Pavlich tweeted a response that most Muslims believe gays should be killed and then wished Kohn a Happy Valentine’s Day. It was far more a gratuitous swipe at Kohn than any concern for gays:
Kohn tweeted back questioning Pavlich’s animosity and asking where she got her “facts”:
As I’m writing this, Pavlich does not seem to have come up with any response. I guess facts are for other people and not the editor of Townhall and Fox News contributor. Nor the decent respect for a former Fox colleague.
But bigotry and hate are often on Pavlich's mind. Her latest tweet:
We have previously caught Pavlich displaying a nauseatingly hostile and condescending attitude toward African Americans. She also race baited President Obama and Eric Holder as having a “radical racial agenda” because a nominee to head the Civil Rights division of the DOJ had represented a black man Pavlich didn’t seem to think deserved his Constitutional right to a lawyer. And she seems to take a certain delight in being a mean girl.
So congratulations, Katie. You’ve outdone yourself this time.
I’m guessing she’s also sort of ignored the whole treatment of the LGBT community in Russia which has seen a substantial rise in hatred directed at LGBTs—including murder—and the authorities actually have the gall to claim the videotaped beatings and murders were perpetrated by other LGBTs, looking for “rough sex.”
And they may be a tiny minority in this country, but there are so-called Christian Americans who would openly advocate death to LGBTs if they thought they could do it without any repercussions. I mean, look at Roy Moore in Alabama. He won’t openly say he wants LGBTs dead but his actions certainly indicate he doesn’t believe that any LGBT person has any human value.
