And, this:

So, Mr Rodriguez gets involved to ensure that a “friend” isn’t “abused or mistreated” (I wonder by whom?) but he wants terrorists subjected to torture. And Mr Rodriguez orders videos showing torture to be destroyed because he believed they might look “devastating” if viewed “out of context.” (I presume Mr Rodriguez believes everyone subscribes to the Jesse Watters school of video journalism.) AND, Mr Rodriguez wanted “immunity” in exchange for testimony. (That makes me think that Mr Rodriguez knew full well he destroyed evidence of torture.)

Yep. Sounds just like the kind of person that FoxNoise would pick to defend torture. I’m surprised FoxNoise hasn’t offered the man a full-time job as an “intelligence advisor.”

It’s past time for the Justice Department to send in the military and let these FoxFolkkks discover for themselves exactly what torture is.

I don’t think Murdoch and Ailes have enough money for these pathetic cretins to keep spewing the Murdoch/Ailes/GOPTeabagger party line after they’ve experienced a mere 15 minutes of the kind of torture they giggle about.

I think it’s about time someone start posting Jesse Watters’ home address and make “surprise” appearances at his home with a camera. Does anyone else think Watters would be far less appreciative of his behavior when it’s turned on him?

Who wants to bet Watters would be calling the cops on such “mavericks?”

Perhaps Jesse would be willing to undergo some of those very “interrogation” tactics that he doesn’t think were torture.

Oh, who am I kidding? He’d never do that; he’s got a “reputation” to uphold and if the people he stalks interviews were to see how much of a coward he is, he’d never get anything but chuckles and guffaws from the “subjects” of his “interviews.”

AARGH! Oh, formatting can be such a shvitz. That second paragraph was supposed to be a footnote, asterisked from the first paragraph’s Peters. And the only part of it that was supposed to be bolded was “so.” What I’m trying to figure out is why the bolding didn’t stop before “so” which is still displaying an asterisk.

Jane, Megyn is only “hot, hot, hot” for men who have trouble getting it up without help from their little blue pills. (I’m not so sure she’s also “hot, hot, hot” for the men who can’t get it up even with their little blue pills.)

Contestants on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” are, by and large, “hotter” than Megyn Kelly—even when the contestants are not all painted up, padded out, wigs jacked to heaven and completely and fully-tucked. (One of last season’s contestants, Courtney Act, routinely wore bikinis and other skimpy outfits designed to show off her hot body and a number of the straight female guest judges were utterly disgusted—in a joking way—by Courtney was so much hotter than they were, and we’re not talking women who were at the bottom of the Hollywood hotness scale. Both Ru and regular judge, Michelle Visage, would routinely complain—as would Courtney’s fellow contestants—that Courtney was using her body as her only asset to get ahead. Just Google “Courtney Act” if you don’t know who she is. I’m pretty sure you’d agree Courtney is far hotter than Megyn.)

Beck might want to brush up on the case of Richard jewell—the man who was (wrongly) accused of the Atlanta Olympics bombing.

Or maybe that should be case*s*. Jewell filed libel suits against: his former employer, Piedmont College; NBC News (specifically a statement made on-air by Tom Brokaw); the New York Post; and Cox Enterprises (the parent company of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper). Only the suit against Cox was dismissed—and, despite Cox’s contention that the suit had no merit, it was really dismissed following Jewell’s death.

It’s amazing at the folks who are trying to defend Toodles’ outrage over this issue and turning the “blocking” of God as being somehow symptomatic of “persecuting Christians.” Folks, “Christians” do NOT own “God.” But it seems that only “Christians” seem to possess the sense of hubris that makes them think they do.

Also, what some people might not realize is that VERY DEVOUT Jews object to the very word “God” in print as being disrespectful, if not blasphemous. And there are some incredibly devout Christians who feel the same way.

So, wait a minute. Toodles is looking for a socialist establishment to carry his book? I mean, he does realize that libraries are one of the most socialist of all institutions, right? The only capitalist aspect of a library is when it purchases a book for its shelves. After that, it’s available FOR FREE—to anyone (provided they have a library card—something which requires very little to get and is usually available to interested parties FOR FREE; you don’t even need to pass any “means” test—unlike “free” voter ID cards—to get a library card). And while there is a limit on how long the book can be kept by the reader, that’s largely because the check-out is (again) free.

Why isn’t Toodles haranguing his “loyal” viewers to go out and “do the right thing” and buy a copy? A library purchase doesn’t put nearly as much cash in Toodles’ pocket as a sale at a for-real bookstore. (Interestingly, either as a desperate measure for sales or even Amazon realizes it’s not worth the trouble, a Kindle copy can be bought for just $9.50—the SRP on the book is $24.95. And it’s obvious from the number of 5-star ratings what bunch of braindead, mindless sheep are buying it. From some of the reviews, these folks aren’t actually reading the book but rather stuff they’ve been told to write about it. I mean, if you’re really a Christian and you’ve been so badly mistreated and had your rights infringed, why would you need to read a book telling you of the troubles you’ve faced. A 1-star review is by a guy who says he’s gay but he doesn’t need to read a book telling him how badly he’s been treated because of his being gay.)

It’s so hypocritical of Toodles. While he (along with his fellow FoxNoise fiends) bemoan the dreaded socialist takeover of the US, he turns around and whines that a library won’t stock his book. Toodles, libraries are NOT required to carry every book. I’ve been disappointed when I’ve gone into libraries and can’t find a particular book because the library doesn’t stock it for whatever reason. But, then again, libraries have had their funding cut over the last number of years because they’re a low priority for cities and counties facing budget woes. And with fewer and fewer people visiting libraries (aside from low-income people, most of whom use library computers, rather than check out books), libraries increasing rely on donations from the public. So, it’s a bit of a Catch-22. The library in question probably has to pick and choose which books it can stock (selecting books that will have the most mass appeal—which largely limits books of political natures unless they’re by the BIG NAME right-wing blowhards, like O’Reilly, Hannity and Limbaugh, and Toodles isn’t quite up in that rank) and needs to rely on the public, but people most likely to buy Toodles’ crap are also less likely to donate it to a library (since donations to libraries—while they do count as charitable donations for tax purposes—don’t really provide big enough tax breaks to make donations worthwhile).

Isn’t the whole “War on Christmas” the ultimate in “holiday scams?”

These idiots at FoxNoise need to be reminded that courts have held that leaders of white racist skinhead groups cannot be held accountable for the murderous and other violent actions of their followers. Prosecutors have tried to take the leaders to court time and again, only to see their cases tossed out because the leaders are NOT actually doing anything themselves. These leaders basically get away with “I’m not responsible for my followers’ taking my words so literally”—with court approval.

And FoxNoise needs to be damned thankful that precedent is established. Otherwise more than a few of the FoxNoise talking heads would be behind bars for their inflammatory words. (Looking especially hard at Bill O’Reilly.)

You know, if Cruz is so unfond of the government that he’s so willing to shut it down all the time, maybe the SOB should just effin’ resign his seat.

It’s amazing that voters can’t seem to understand how insane it is to continue electing people to serve in the government when those people don’t seem to want to actually serve.

If Cruz were to catch on fire, the only thing I’d do for him is to go to the closest gas station, buy a gallon of gas, go back to where he’s still burning and throw the gas can in his direction.
