Leave it to Sean Hannity to argue that questions about Brian Williams’ credibility are “a related story” to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 falsehood about coming under fire in Bosnia.
Most, if not all, of the Hannity show last night was devoted to attacking Williams and NBC News – except when Hannity tried to make it about Hillary Clinton.
The video below was not the only segment in which Hannity “connected” Clinton to Williams. But in this one, Hannity set up his attack on Clinton by “asking” his two conservative guests – Amber Smith and Brent Bozell - if Williams should stay on the air and “What do you think NBC should do?” Once they gave their predictable answers, that Williams has lost all credibility and must go, Hannity suggested Clinton should be in the same boat:
HANNITY: Let me ask you, then, this story, because this is a related story and it’s about a presidential candidate. Hillary Clinton claimed, in Bosnia, that she came under sniper fire. It wasn’t true.
Hannity played a clip of a news report on Hillary’s exaggeration. He followed up with the “question”: “What’s more important in terms of a job, being an anchor or being a president? Should that matter?”
Considering how he had already stacked his panel with conservative guests, only, Hannity's “questions” were as phony as his promise to undergo waterboarding for charity.
But even after he got the predictable answer, Hannity pushed it further: “So do you think it will have an impact on the campaign? …If Brian Williams has to step down, will this now become a bigger issue for her?”
Of course, Hannity has plenty of credibility issues of his own. Just a few days before British Prime Minister David Cameron called "terrorism expert" Steve Emerson "a complete idiot" for saying on Fox that Birmingham, England is "totally Muslim," Hannity gave Emerson a sympathetic platform (one of many, I might add) where they talked about Muslim "no-go zones" - which Fox has now admitted don't exist.
In October, Hannity hosted a doctor who told viewers it was “absolutely inevitable” that Ebola will spread from Africa around the world and infect much of white America any day now. On another occasion, Hannity presented a set of phony ObamaCare victims who, it turned out, could have been helped and not hurt by the Affordable Care Act.
Shouldn't that matter?
The examples above are just some I recall off the top of my head. Feel free to post your own Hannity credibility issues in our comments section.
Watch it below, from last night’s Hannity.
The Stop Hannity Express says Hannocchio is using this tactic to smear Hillary Clinton before she announces her candidacy for president, if she runs. It is one of several schemes this Long Island Lolito is cooking up to stop potential Democrats from winning the presidential election.
The Express details his scheme.
He plans to dig up damaging articles, video and audio on all Democratic candidates. This fool will dig several decades until he finds a gem to stick to that candidate.
Guilt by association. He’s done this to President Obama. He will do it, again.
How to fight against his schemes.
Simple. Dig dirt on this cafeteria Catholic fraud. He has a closet full of skeletons that he keeps hidden. Look at all the people he associates with. Some have criminal records. Use this against him.
There are people who remember him prior to Fox. They know all about his checkered past.
