Sean Hannity may be a bully just like his beloved Donald Trump, but he is also a cowardly whiner in the same vein. That would just be a matter of obnoxiousness were it not for the fact that Hannity is using his bully pulpit to squelch the First Amendment. And he’s got support among his cohorts.
Last night, Hannity said (transcript via Media Matters):
HANNITY: Dick Cheney actually made a statement, he said, you know, “Trump could now transcend the media at this point,” he doesn’t need these guys anymore. Is it time to rethink the White House press office? For example, does CNN really deserve a seat after being caught colluding with the Clinton campaign? Does NBC deserve a seat in the White House press office and dealing with the press secretary when we know they have an institutional bias, or is it time to just throw them all out and start over?
Guest Newt Gingrich didn't endorse the idea but he didn't shoot it down, either.
Fox News’ own Juan Williams has explained why a press pool is important to a democracy. But Hannity pretends to care about “institutional bias” while presenting nightly a show that is an example of the most extreme institutional bias.
What do you think Hannity is so frightened of that he wants to demolish 200+ years of American democracy?

The shooter in Washington DC a couple of days ago was looking for a child prostitution ring run by Hillary and John in a pizzaria. Complete with underground tunnels. And this goddamn nut is not alone in believing this bullshit gleaned off the internet.
This is beyond Faux. It is internet bullshit amplified and projected at the right wing loons that are beyond Faux’s reach.
Faux is no longer fringe bullshit. They have fabricated an entirely new layer of bullshit that is like a protective shield.
On a more serious note, we all knew this moment in blatant hypocrisy was coming. Recall when Obama administration gave Fox News the cold shoulder and the msm stuck by them pressuring Obama into quitting. Never for a moment should any sane individual ever expect the Fox propaganda factory to ever return the favor.
Like #Benghazi. Like ACORN. Like Emailgate. Fox News data mines a false right-wing narrative of bile raising outrage with WikiLeaks’ alleged proof Hillary’s Satin. Vague references to emails of the media invited to Podesta’s house have been abused into a conspiracy it isn’t.
I say go for it Trump. Ban the msm from the White House. I’d love nothing but Fox News, WND, Breitbart, The Daily Caller, etc. in attendance. Waving their arms wildly for their chance to kiss The Donald’s ass until his butt cheeks are raw.
I’m wondering if Trump might well have a full on nervous breakdown in the White House. Who needs who?
