Poor Sean Hannity. His thin, little skin just can’t take being criticized on national television – you know, the way he has made millions doing to others.
As I previously posted, this morning, Hannity went after Brian Stelter, host of CNN’s Reliable Sources show, after he ripped Hannity as “unpatriotic” and “not interested in the truth” for unquestioningly promoting Trump’s baseless attacks on our election system and smears of Hillary Clinton’s health.
But whereas Stelter kept his criticism of Hannity professional and dignified, Hannity smeared Stelter and CNN, saying, “That’s the type of coverage that CNN offers in this presidential race as they literally kiss Hillary Clinton’s ass and Obama’s ass every day.”
It's rather ironic, as I also noted, given that Hannity has become such a Trump shill, even conservatives are blasting him.
This afternoon, Hannity went after Stelter again while cozying up to his second-best BFF, Donald Trump, Jr. From the Media Matters transcript:
HANNITY: Yeah, the Clinton news [CNN] -- they have this little pipsqueak, so-called media critic, and his show is “Unreliable Liberal Media Matters Sources,” and it’s sort of like the Media Matters show. And you’ve got Brian the stenographer Stelter, doing the bidding of Jeff Zucker, and so—they literally have a professor from the Kennedy School of Journalism, who calls your dad a demagogue and says “well, demagogues, if they’re elected, that usually leads to dictatorship,” and the guy never questioned him.
[...]
HANNITY: It’s sort of like this little pipsqueak, Brian the stenographer for Jeff Zucker—unreliable Media Matters sources, over at CNN—you know, lecturing me because I raised a question about Hillary’s health, how dare I question that? Or how dare I point out that it’s a little odd to me that 59 districts in Pennsylvania in 2012, not one vote for Romney. 59 districts, I’m sorry, but that seems odd to me.
Hey, Hannity, that “little pipsqueak” has obviously burrowed himself under your skin.
Listen to the whining below, from the The Sean Hannity Show, via Media Matters.

He was also backing the late unlamented Ailies who oddly enough was back by Murdoch the elder( of UK hacking fame),but I never got any replys.
Ah cant win em all,I think Faux News is getting more Irrelevant as time goes on or I hope it is,Rupe nearly runs most of Australia’s papers and scares or gutless lot shitless the sooner he is dead the better for all a corrupt crook
I suppose it wouldn’t be appropriate to use the Limbaugh phrase and note that Stelter appears to be living rent-free in Hannity’s head.
It’s over, not just for Fux News (which it does daily) but for the whole hysterical right wing bubble. Everything about this election season speaks to a blood-curdling implosion as the so-called silent majority comes to the realization that they are on the wrong side of everything. Trump (British for fart, btw) is not facing personal ignominy alone. He’s holed the lifeboats and is taking the whole damned ship down with him.
We have all been waiting for Titanic II, haven’t we?
“Unreliable Media Matters Sources” is Sean’s dig at Stelter’s “Clinton News Network” show. However, the little bit I’ve watched Stelter he’s no friend to Hillary. This is a perfect example of what conservatives view as “fair and balanced” is in reality a blatant right-wing propaganda factory like Fox News. Anything even mildly critical of conservatives merits a rant of unfair treatment, toss the dirty diapers into the hamper.
More evidence of this is the hypocrisy of Hannity agreeing with his phone-in guest that CNN’s generally moderate panels are all professional liberal Hillary supporters with a single ‘off the street’ nobody Trump supporter. Since when are Trump surrogates like Jeffrey Lords deemed weak? Sounds like projection from fans of Fox News stacked panel shows like “The Five” and “Outnumbered” where the lonely ‘lib’ – if they exist at all – is someone like registered Republican RINO Geraldo.
Full disclosure: I’m no fan of CNN’s huge panel format like Anderson Cooper features. It reminds me of the local PBS “Battle of the Brains” where 2 high school teams compete to press the button first to blurt out an answer.
As I often point out, if the media was so liberal then liberals like myself would be addicts getting their daily liberal fix like conservatives get theirs from Fox News. Yet, liberals are often critical of moderate CNN. Witness this recent attack that CNN is now the “Trump news network”: http://www.politicususa.com/2016/08/06/cnn-sales-trump-panel-trump-surrogates-whining-media-bias.html.
Finally, we’re lucky, I suppose, in the end serial liar Hannity tells at least 1/2 the truth when he plays the Trump card (pun intended) the election is rigged – one way because apparently only Democrats are corrupt – and the proof is there are some districts in Pennsylvania with 0 votes for Romney. Naturally, a partisan propagandist like Sean won’t admit this stale talking point has been debunked because elsewhere in the country some districts had 0 voters for Obama. It happens.
Of course, Stelter is the one who debunked that rigged election Trumpet talking point so now we’ve gone full circle, eh Sean? ;^0
