Fox's War On Christmas Comes Early This Year

It's not even Labor Day but Fox News' Elisabeth Hasselbeck has already suited up for the War on Christmas.

Belen, New Mexico is fighting the Freedom From Religion Foundation in its efforts to remove a year-round Nativity scene from a city park. And, of course, Fox News host Elisabeth Hasselbeck could not have been more sympathetic. Eroding the separation between church and state is one of Fox News' holiest of missions!

After dramatic music opened a segment called, "THE FIGHT FOR FAITH," Hasselbeck stood in front of a graphic with the same slogan as she said, "It's not just a fight for faith but a fight for history." That's because Belen means "Bethelehem" in Spanish and, according to Mayor Jerah Cordova, the town has been displaying a nativity scene since its founding in 1741.

"How hard, how long are you willing to fight for this nativity to remain as it has been?" Hasselbeck asked Cordova.

Cordova said his city is "prepared to take this as far as we have to take it," including fighting a lawsuit. He said the city has a lot of support from people and organizations both in and out of New Mexico and "we know that we're going to get the support that we need to carry this through."

One of those supportive organizations he can count on is Fox News. Hasselbeck closed the interview by saying appreciatively, "A leader's voice ringing strong."

Not this time, babe. The real war is between Fox “News” and the Trumpster. In case you missed it your audience is leaving you http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/14/media/donald-trump-roger-ailes-dispute/

The Foxies’ bogus war on Christmas will be short-lived because the amateur suits will be too busy going after Trumpster.

Buy a pack of popcorn.

Thx4 Fish — thanks for the info on Belen. There are conservatives enclaves everywhere, didn’t know about that one in New Mexico.

And let me shout out an early Happy Holidays to Lizzie!!!!!

Isn’t this pretty much settled law? One solution is to offer equal access to other religions and atheists which typically grows out of control. The other is for someone in town to donate some land or a church ⛪ can buy a spot.

A Jew, for example, would ask why their tax money is going to this lawsuit.

In "foKKKs Spews " world, as long as the President is Black, its never too early to remind everyone that Jesus and Santa Claus are White.

Sgt Lizzie Hazmat will get a special citation from Generalissimo Bildo for firing the first shot in the 2015 War on Christmas.

More nonsense from nothing more than elements of a pseudo-religious cult that worships at the alter found in the mindless void in front of a television tuned to the fictional drama known as Fox News

Belen is south of Albuquerque-which is a fairly liberal city—but Belen is another story. Driving past the farms near Belen recently I saw the two large anti-Obama signs which have been there for a while, but something new showed up prominently displayed at one of the farms along I-10—a confederate flag. New Mexico is not in any way a southern state. It has large Hispanic and Native American populations, but a very small African American population. The only reason one would display a confederate flag in New Mexico would be to announce one’s racism. They must have some obnoxious people in Belen. But I’ll never stop there to find out!
