Fox’s Gutfeld: Trump Is A Tornado And Clinton The Trailer Park

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on November 02, 2016 · Flag

Gutfeld_tornado.png

Instead of having the guts to come right out and argue against Donald Trump, Fox host and non-Trumpkin Greg Gutfeld made mean-spirited “jokes” about Hillary Clinton and Michael Moore, instead.

Gutfeld is clearly not a Trump fan. But rather than own his opinion, Gutfeld made a big show of his conservative bona fides - with anti-Clinton nastiness.

Gutfeld started by psychoanalyzing Clinton. It’s bad enough when Dr. Keith Ablow does this sort of thing but at least he's a genuine psychiatrist. Gutfeld’s “professional training” only seems to include a B.A. in English. Nevertheless, he joined the Fox News attack over Clinton's use of Alicia Machado as a surrogate with the following:

"The Machado thing tells you that Hillary Clinton is scared and she’s scared because this thing now is out of her control. You used to be able to rely on the media to somehow dictate the form of where this was going.

But it’s like Trump is a tornado and she’s the trailor park. She has no idea what’s going to happen next."

Nobody objected to that obnoxious analogy.

Gutfeld continued:

"You have, like, the RCP [RealClearPolitics] average now - was at 333-205, the Electoral College. It’s now 273-265. I mean, the race is tighter than Michael Moore’s yoga pants."

That got a big laugh from Gutfeld's four cohosts.

This is how a non-Trump supporter earns his place on board Fox’s Trump Train.

Watch it below, from the November 2, 2016 Outnumbered.

JM, last week I voted early, taking a few minutes off from work to vote at the downtown Houston poll. Later in the day I was on the phone with my dispatcher. She said good for you, you did your civic duty. I told her I voted for Hillary. Then she started whispering on her end. Like we were some kind of Nazi spies stealing the plans for Americas newest blimp. She is the senior dispatcher in a major petro metro city. I can only imagine what it must be like in the sticks of east Texas or Bumfuk, Arkansas.

Luv me some Rachel Maddow. She does good comprehensive reporting on the subject at hand. She peels the onion. Back during the Bush years it was the CIA misbehaving and the FBI was the straight arrow. No longer. Kevin K, daily kos is questioning 538 as of late, acknowledging their past track record. Daily kos is showing Florida as solidly blue. Silver is calling it a coin toss.

Hope you’re feeling better Ellen. If it’s a cold a good gargle might help.

Update on Fox News’ hysteria over the FBI investigating Hillary.

Rachael Maddow did a great job of unraveling the FBI leaks. Here’s the link:
http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/new-concerns-fbi-is-leaking-to-trump-campaign-800667203987

It’s a must watch segment.

For example, Rachael reveals Rudy Giuliani hinted on Fox News that a big reveal was coming 2 days before Comey’s letter and covers his ties to the FBI. So the “Trumpland” FBI apparently was leaking to the Trump campaign.

She interviews the Guardian reporter behind the “Trumpland” article. She also does a great job of tying the Trump-Breitbart connection to the FBI interfering in the election.

Hi, I’ve read the FBI reporting and hope to do a post in the morning. I’ve been quite under the weather for about the last 24 hours and it’s been hard to read. I’m feeling quite a bit better and hope to be back at work as usual tomorrow.

However, with Hillary’s polls slipping, I do hope to be able to do some volunteer work on her behalf up until Election Day. So if posting is light, it’s for a good cause. :)

This past week has been a surreal experience of watching Fox News and right wing radio becoming increasingly hysterical. It appears to me that they know the numbers are not likely to work for Trump and they are throwing caution to the wind.

The Guardian article on the FBI is revealing – I agree with Eyes about it. It’s clear that there are some very right wing FBI agents who are attempting to influence the course of this election by feeding smears to friendly outlets like Fox News. The fact that Bret Baier fell for this yesterday is yet another nail in the coffin of even Fox’s supposedly reliable news desk.

This morning, we saw the Fox website go with a headline from the right wing Washington Free Beacon about Iran supposedly being set to attack the USA and Europe. This was followed by right wing FBI “sources” insisting that they were “99 percent certain” that five foreign organizations had hacked into Clinton’s private server. (Meaning that they’d like us to forget that we’ve already learned that there’s NO INDICATION AT ALL that anyone ever hacked that server, while there have actually been hacks into government servers…)

Fox News and the rest of the right wing clearly want to have a continuing series of reports on these smears to fill the weekend news cycle before the election. Sadly for them, this will not be the case. Bill O’Reilly openly campaigned for this tonight with his statement about how he thinks Hillary Clinton has reached a “tipping point” of negative stories. O’Reilly failed to mention that not only is this untrue, but it was always the intention of right wing media to make such a situation happen. And it forgets that Donald Trump’s horrible behavior has created its own “tipping point” for his campaign.

I trust the caution of Nate Silver – he’s a numbers man and his averages have been shown to be correct over time. His predictions at this point are clearly showing Clinton favored to win, but noting that if Trump wins every single battleground state and also moves into states Clinton should be easily holding, he could statistically have a chance to win. But remember – Trump would have to win EVERY swing state and then keep going. Which would indicate a massive landslide for Trump that isn’t going to happen. The more likely result is that Clinton handily defeats him – including in Florida.

I agree with Eyes that it’s been very difficult to listen to the hysteria coming out of Fox News and AM radio this week – I’ve actually stopped listening to a lot of it as it’s really unpleasant. I will be very curious to see how they deal with the events of next Tuesday, and how things are handled next Wednesday.

I suspect that David is right – there must be huge numbers of women particularly that are disgusted with Trump and will take the chance to knee him in the balls once they are in the privacy of the voting booth.

I’m sure there are still many communities where openly admitting you liked Hills would be the equivalent of saying out loud that the Blacks and their so-called lives matter or pissing on a flag-draped bible.

I dunno. Daily kos is saying 538 is no longer the go to place for polling. Saying they are relying on gut instincts over data.

Maybe President Obama can put his foot in someone’s behind over at the FBI. Drop Hannibal Lector in the middle of them, I don’t know.

Well, gang, my suspicions over *Fox News deliberately sourcing FBI agents to foment hate of Hillary Clinton and create another October Surprise are born out." The Guardian has a must-read article: “The FBI is ‘Trumpland’: anti-Clinton atmosphere spurred leaks, sources say”.

It speaks for itself so I won’t further editorialize.

EOF, Nate Silver is showing Florida dead even but leaning Trump. I really hope that O’Donnell is right. I get the gut feeling there are a lot of people mouthing that they like Trump out of intimidation. Obama derangement syndrome has been around for eight years. Hillary derangement syndrome has been around since 1992. My aggie math tells me that is,…… mmm…a long time.

While real (statutory rape, colluding with the enemy, fraud) and imaginary (emails OMG!) scandals play out in the foreground, there is something going on in the background. The stock market. Slams against Hillary which are seen as beneficial to the orange one are having an effect on world markets.

Crazy is not good for business.
Maybe Hillary should make hay with that. This is the first time in a while that I haven’t given to the democratic nominee. Bad year financially.

@eyes on fox and david. There are FBI agents who are about as non-partisan as the old KGB. Watch out for one more anti-Hillary political turd to drop into the Presidential election punch bowl. Friday.

Update on Fox News’ latest October Surprise I opined on earlier below. Crooks & Liars has an interesting take on it. Apparently it’s a FBI series of leaks reported wider than I was aware of exclusively [surprise, surprise] to Murdoch properties including the Wall Street Journal.

The FBI with Murdoch’s conservative media as an accomplice is trying to clearly tip the scales of the election.

David,

I saw Lawrence O’Donnell (I think Tuesday) where he hyped up a poll of Florida early voters. The pollster claimed, among other things, there was a 28% Republican crossover vote to Hillary and she was blowing Trump out (forget the wild advantage she had but recall it was a huge double-digit lead). While interesting since it’s not only the early voters but it’s more accurate because he had a huge sample and was able to contact the actual voters (Florida releases their info), I think O’Donnell was a tad too breathless in his coverage. For example, Hillary was going live on an event during his show and he was babbling his expectation she would mention his show (the poll was his exclusive breaking news). She didn’t. Nor have I seen anyone else make any hay from it.

More disturbing to me is Bret and Brit last night dropping yet another FBI October Surprise. I’m watching “Fox & Friends” carrying their reporting and they’re coming out with a number of very troubling FBI leaks, if true, indicate Hillary’s investigation on the Clinton Foundation is close to indictment. They claim the FBI thinks it has new Hillary classified emails as well. Additionally they’re claiming 2 laptops previously reported as destroyed weren’t because the owners given partial immunity lied to the FBI so their agreement to destroy the laptops are null and void.

It all appears to be based on Catherine Herridge reporting and in my experience Herridge is an unreliable hack. Leaked information she’s spewed before on Emailgate and Benghazi has been debunked in the past. I know Daily Kos is mocking the fact the FBI was basing their investigation on “Clinton Cash”: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/11/02/1590380/-BUSTED-Trump-s-Campaign-Boss-Tied-To-FBI-s-Review-Of-The-Clinton-Foundation. Of course, Fox crows over “Clinton Cash” as slam-dunk proof.

Fox News has continually pimped the story the FBI is in open revolt to indict Hillary. Obviously, there’s some conflicts but since only Fox is hyping this meme I suspect Catherine has found a couple of right-wingers who probably are in a lather and feeding her exaggerated bulls—t she wants to hear.

However, it’s very hard for me to watch Fox News’ hysteria over this final [lets hope] October Surprise.

Lawrence O’Donnell, the guy who’s past accurate observations about Trump and has influenced my strong belief that he is nothing but a con man, has an article about how Florida might go for Clinton big. But I haven’t had time to read it.

Game 7 of World Series going into EXTRA innings.

After the game let’s go hang out with Bill Murray on Dearborn St.and have some beers. We can rap with the Mayor and stuff.

:D

EOF, a big newsworthy event needs about 2-3 days to gain traction, so if there are no more late bombshells by Sunday night it should be good. I think Trump’s poll numbers are overblown just like every thing else about him.

Illinois and Ohio are about to explode right now.l

Series tied 6-6 going into the ninth.
Eyes On Fox commented 2016-11-02 23:18:14 -0400 · Flag
David,

A clear and early Florida win would be a godsend on Tuesday. Trump’s done, put a fork in him.

Unfortunately, I’m getting so much conflicting information from so many sources I honestly don’t know who to believe.

All I can say I’m confident Hillary would win comfortably if the election were held today. I’m typing this at 11:14 pm (EST) so we’re looking at 5 days left and I think this can hold if there are no more bombshells though Trump clearly has some momentum.

For the 1st time in my life I contributed money to a political candidate. Yeah, I think a Hillary win is that essential to our country.

Tornado?!?!???

Attention: the Donald!!
Toupee Alert! Toupee Alert! Toupee Alert!

EOF, next week I hope Florida is a big unpleasant surprise for the GOP. I am hoping it could be decided early and have a cascade effect across the rest of the country.

Karl Rove learned his lesson last time. Coffee and tranquilizers on the standby. In case of dire emergency, break glass for pacifier and blanky.

Series tied going into the fourth.

How sad is it that a ‘professional funny-man’ has to spend his working life in the company of charlatans and fools making questionable funnies to an audience of ignorant old f..ks whose idea of humour barely reaches championship limbo levels?

Fox’s Gutfeld: Trump Is A Tornado And Clinton The Trailer Park

I find that an interesting analogy by Gutfilled, considering most of Drumpf’s supporters are actually found in the latter.

Jury’s still out on that, IMHO . . .

Well, it’s typical “fair and balanced” Fox News right-wing smears. “Fox & Friends” was smearing Machado as well this morning with Brian Kilmeade trashing her for not speaking good English.

The force Hillary is fighting isn’t Trump. It’s all the forces of enemies she’s built up over the years.

Like alleged rapist Julian Assange who hates her because she was part of the Obama administration he’s convinced wants him indicted. So he colluded with the Russian FSB to interfere in the election.

Like an FBI we’re told has a huge cadre of agents politicking for her indictment. So a pressured Comey not only drops an Emailgate stink bomb he refuses to clarify but an FBI dormant Twitter account magically releases documents on Bill Clinton.

I’m sure the election would have tightened because it’s decision time and many of the Never Trumpers will be forced to admit they were bluffing all along. However, this is an odd election where you don’t want to be the one talked about by a media obsessed with false equivalencies if you’re the Democrat. Yet that’s where Hillary sits, unable to pivot the narrative.

My only encouragement is this might shake the complacency out of people leaning Democratic back when Hillary had a comfortable lead.

Blacks, a core Hillary voting block, for example, are not showing up in the numbers she needs. Part of the problem is voter suppression efforts targeting them like in North Carolina. However, whatever the cause they need to come out in force. Trump will hurt them badly if elected President.

Ditto the millennials, Bernie or bust crowd, and Jill Stein deadenders. They will pay a steep price for opposing Hillary and electing Trump.
scooter commented 2016-11-02 16:18:38 -0400 · Flag
To use Gutless’ analogy back at him and his cohorts – Clinton is the tornado and FOX is the trailer park. How many heads at FOX are going to explode next week when she mops the floor with their candidate? Will Karl Rover run to the basement again screaming that the numbers can’t be right? Hannity and Bildo will scream for hours, days, weeks, years.

Say it with me – Madam President.
