Fox News Trumpets Syria Propaganda In Order To Smear Obama

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on September 01, 2013 · Flag

Apparently, Fox News is so eager to make President Obama look bad that they don't care who they turn to for help. A few days ago, it was Donald Rumsfeld. On Fox News Sunday this morning, host Chris Wallace validated anti-U.S. comments in Syria's state-run newspaper. Fox Nation took it a step further by making the propaganda its top story.

As Think Progress noted,

During his interview with Secretary of State John Kerry for Fox News Sunday, Wallace quoted “officials in Damascus” and a Syria state-run newspaper — Al-Thawra — to argue that the administration has shown weakness in failing to unilaterally strike Syria after presenting evidence that the regime carried out a chemical attack against its own people last month. “Haven’t you handed Syria and Iran at least a temporary victory,” Wallace asked:

WALLACE: You talk about this is going to make it worse for Assad. After the president announced his decision, officials in Damascus were saying that the president had flinched. Had made a joke of the American administration. A newspaper out in the streets of Damascus calls this, “the start of the historic American retreat.” Haven’t you handed Syria and Iran at least a temporary victory?

...

Al-Thawra, “which as a government outlet reflects regime thinking, also claimed that Obama’s reluctance to take military action stems from his ‘sense of implicit defeat and the disappearance of his allies.’”

Those purported America lovers at Fox Nation liked the "historic American retreat" quote so much, they made it the headline at the top of their page:

Does anybody else remember when Fox regularly accused others of aiding the enemy by not cheerleading the George W. Bush administration's war efforts? Or Bill O'Reilly suggesting Professor Ward Churchill's criticisms of U.S. policy made him eligible to be tried for treason? Makes you think that was all a classic case of projection, eh?

Looks like slant-head vannity devoted an entire hour to bashing the Syrian policy of this administration; although it’s tough to figure out from all his foot-stomping and bawling, just what the hell he wants to have the President do. EVERYTHING he does or doesn’t do is wrong. What a jerk.
This washed up, “getting old and ugly hack” reminds me of a wounded mutt that is sitting in the middle of the street, howling and limping around on three legs. Drag out disgraced stooge, north, and there you have TWO wounded mutts in the middle of the street.
Laughable, if so many emtpy headed Obama-haters didn’t lap it up as gospel.

In a relentless effort to smear our President, Jabba the Ailes will sign up Assad as another Fux Noise contributor.

Lynch mob behavior.

Very similar to what happened during the civil rights movement when “poor-whites-whose-only-claim-to-superiority-was-not-being-colored” realised that they had nobody to lord it over. They were bottom-rung, just like poor coloreds and better-off coloreds were perched on higher rungs. Oh lordy!

I don’t watch FNC much anymore because all that frantic shouting and ranting tells me they’re done. Aware of that, deep down inside, they are thumping their chests and roaring in hope of scaring off the threat.

Sorry, FNC. So sorry ……………. (not)

I would be surprised, but this is Fox News- This is the third time they sided with Syria while pretending they weren’t since Obama took office. Also see Iran, Libya, and North Korea.

Proof that Fox News will get in bed with anybody if they think it will help them smear President Obama.
