Fox & Friends wasted no time finding a way to exploit the heinous ISIS video of beheaded American aid worker, Peter Hassig, this morning. And guess what? It fit neatly into the Fox News/GOP strategy of hate mongering about Obama’s likely immigration order.
It started with a clip from earlier in the show of a retired SEAL Team Six member suggesting that President Obama’s immigration policy will all but ensure ISIS coming to a neighborhood near you. The ex-SEAL, Howard Wasdin, earned himself some Fox love a few days ago when he fell in with the Fox meme of blaming President Obama for ex-SEAL Robert O’Neill outing himself as the man who killed Osama Bin Laden. Fox & Friends liked Wasdin’s latest Obama hate so much, they re-played it again here:
WASDIN: If we don’t start taking these guys seriously, if we don’t start doing what’s necessary to combat terrorism, …you better believe it’s coming to America. …What we’ve got to do is make it so unsavory, so terrible for them to not even be able to recruit that they’re thinking that, “Hey, that if we do volunteer, guess what? Somebody like this Rob O’Neill guy who killed Osama Bin Laden is never gonna stop until they kill us. No, thank you, we’ll give it a pass.” Instead of “Oh, come here, we’ll take you into our warm embrace in America, find you some slick attorney and possibly get you off of these charges.
Co-host Tucker Carlson added, “Or give you tons of social welfare benefits, which is exactly our policy now. We have no policy that I’m aware of that restricts emigration from countries where ISIS is popular into the United States. Why wouldn’t we be doing that? I mean, this is more dangerous to us than Ebola and yet I’m not aware of any public debate about restricting movement from those countries where ISIS is, you know, a group of folk heroes, into the United States. Why?”
Later, he seemed to answer his own question, saying, “Just so you know, there are lobby groups in Washington dedicated to preventing any of the restrictions that we’re talking about right now.”
Anna Kooiman chimed in, “We’ve had experts on that say they’re (ISIS) already over here, that they have crossed over the border. Rick Perry’s very concerned about this in Texas.” Kooiman forgot to mention that the claim got a Pants on Fire rating from PolitiFact last month.

Yah, these guys are stupid. They act like millions are going to get it. In reality some might, some will get past DHS and cause some havoc. That chance is slim. These “knuckleheads” think it’s going to be like millions. Mountain out of mole hill. The US should seal the border with military and a big freaken wall, north and south. That will close a huge hole for ISIS to come in.
And many of the ISIS leaders got funding from radicals in Saudi Arabia—you might remember how Dubya was once photographed holding hands (but in a “manly way”—not like a “dating way” ) with a Saudi prince.
Or how another Saudi prince co-owns FoxNoise. Especially ironic considering the FoxNoise propensity for tarring ALL Muslims with the same “terrorist” brush. I mean, someone could think that FoxNoise supports terrorrists. (Well, of course they do. But their preference is the “Christian” variety of terrorists.)
