Long-time Democratic Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii died a few days ago at age 88. Fox News' Chad Pergram wrote up a respectful obituary, as Inouye - who was also a war hero - deserved. To be fair, most of the comments on the obit were salutary. But some readers found his death cause for celebration.
Charming, eh?

Here’s the difference between me and you guys; I would never defend these comments. I wouldnt find some way to validate their comments and I sure wouldnt do everything I could to justify their actions. These people should be banned for posting crap like that.

@bemused: “Actually, “U mad?” and “I’m Mad (fixed)” are the same person who initially posted as “vicious killer” immediately rebaptised “vacuous offkilter”.
Doesn’t surprise me.
Also wouldn’t surprise me if I’m Mad! and Vacuous OffKilter were BOTH sockpuppets of Josh’nU Hateway {aka Joshua Hatheway.}
Ol’ Josh is the only returnee from that large “group” that appeared about a month before Election Day; the ones who posted furiously on every Benghazi thread.
I predicted that “they” would appear multiple times daily until election day; then, once Obama won reelection, they’d vanish . . . and that’s what happened — except that, once the shock of Obama’s reelection wore off {which was a shock to no one but them, of course}, they’d be back as soon as something else came along to distract them and they got their marching orders from Fox/hate radio . . . and then, along came the Newtown shootings . . .

And now, it’s been reported that Robert “I’m NOT the Swedish Chef” Bork has died. Now, what do you think the reaction from the right-wing nuts would be if a liberal/progressive site posted a largely respectful obituary and some of the comments featured language such as the FokkksNation readers used? Do you think the FoxNoise kkkrew would react with “there’s always a few bad apples” or “well, what do you expect from hate-filled liberals?”

@vacuous offkilter: a third pat for the toy poodle with a fervent hope that you don’t tart it up with pompons on head, tail and paws. I really love the furry ones.

Fox Nation Reacts To Sen. Inouye’s Death: One Less Liberal
In response, allow me to poach, slightly edited, the words I’m Mad! {aka U Mad?} directed at us in the thread, “In Newtown Shootings, Former ‘Takers’ Are Now Fox News Heroes”:
“Is this all you people have? Hatred? Even in a time of a national mourning where a US Senator died you people still have to spin and spit your hatred of everything coming from progressives. In a story about a national hero you have to make it about something its not. You people cant manage to push aside your intolerance for anyone you disagree with for more than a day before mocking others during something this sad. I would say its unbelievable, but considering where the hatred is coming from its not only believable but expected.”
Fits, don’t it?
