Remember Harlan Hill, Fox’s so-called “Democratic strategist” who turned out to be a Donald Trump operative? He was back on Fox Business Network as the supposed Democratic “balance” against three Trumpsters.
At least Hill had the decency to admit he’s a Trump supporter. But what’s host Deirdre Bolton’s excuse? It’s not like he hasn’t been on Fox many times. Nor is it any secret that he’s the chair of TrumpDems. It’s right on his Twitter feed.
But Bolton introduced Hill as part of what she called her “power political panel” that consisted of conservative Deneen Borelli, who has been supportive of Trump, “Republican strategist” Mark Serrano who is a Trump supporter and Trump operative Hill. Notice a pattern here? Yeah, me too.
And let’s not forget Bolton. She’s been darned Trumpkin-esque, herself.
But even if Bolton didn’t know that the “Democrat” on her panel is working for Trump, Hill came right out and told her. He commented on the same “populist” comments by President Obama, which was a not-so-thinly-veiled swipe at Trump, that Fox’s Your World program used to attack Obama.
HILL: I felt like he was lecturing Trump supporters. I felt like that he was belittling us. And, you know, as a Trump supporter, as a Democrat for Trump, I can’t wait for him to be out there campaigning for Hillary Clinton because there’s never been a less effective surrogate for another candidate than Barack Obama. Every candidate that he’s gone to the campaign trail for, other than himself, has failed. …I can’t wait for him to get out there.
If Bolton was surprised that her “Democratic strategist” on the panel was really a Trump strategist, she kept it to herself. Instead, she acted as though being a Democrat for Trump were the norm.
Watch it below, from the Fox Business Network's June 30 Risk & Reward with Deirdre Bolton.
I still don’t like his bowtie. It’s most commonly associated with democrats.
How many times did GOP TV drooling fanboy ‘Johnny Dollar’ swear to me Geraldo was a liberal and proof of the network’s diversity? Forget he’s a registered Republican who pondered running for the Senate as a Republican.
