Shocker! Harlan Hill, the so-called Bernie Sanders supporter, also identified as a “Democratic strategist” on Fox News, turns out to be a Donald Trump operative.

Hill has appeared many times on Fox News and Fox Business recently, usually identified as a “Democratic strategist” supporting Bernie Sanders:

In fact, we posted yesterday about Hill’s appearance on Your World on Monday, June 6, where he was paired with Danielle McLaughlin, a Hillary Clinton supporter, to discuss the California primary coming up the next day and efforts by Democrats to have Sanders concede the nomination and get behind Clinton.

In his appearances, Hill has repeatedly suggested he’d support Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton. But that day had already come on Monday. On June 3, several days before he appeared with McLaughlin on Your World, Hill had already tweeted, in a pinned tweet, that “next week,” he would launch “@TrumpDems.”

During that subsequent June 6 Your World interview, Hill was first introduced as a “Sanders supporter.” But host Stuart Varney later said to Hill, “You used to be a Bernie Sanders supporter. You’re not now.” That was it as far as cluing in the viewers of the "We report, you decide" network as to who and what Hill really is.

As Hill replied, the lower-third banner read, “DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST.”  He also said, “At what cost do we want to win this election?” It was a deliberate suggestion that he was still acting as a Democrat. He went on to accuse Clinton of being “a neocon” and “to the right of Donald Trump” in hawkishness and foreign policy. Nobody disclosed his current affiliation.

Hill also said, as if he were a Sanders insider, that Sanders would not drop out if he lost the California primary the next day.

However, I seriously doubt this dissembling will put a dent in Hill’s Fox News hits. To the contrary, I expect we’ll see a lot more of this “Democrat for Trump” in the days to come.
