We’ve previously reported about how Fox News just happens to be in synch with the Republican Party in using high gas prices to attack President Obama. But on Fox & Friends Thursday (2/23/12), Eric Bolling took things to a whole new level when he donned a cap and sang a blues tune to some anti-Obama lyrics. Must be seen to be believed! Especially Steve Doocy clapping and Gretchen Carlson swaying delightedly!
Bolling is not exactly a natural-born crooner. So I’ve got to think that what moved Doocy and Carlson were Bolling’s lyrics, such as:
We’ll remember in November when we vote and choose
And you’ll know why you lost, cause we got the gasoline blues.

Sam Sewell, Randall Terry, and now Eric Bolling… we’re just making all kinds of friends with the right, aren’t we?

Add blues singing to the list of things wingnuts don’t do well and should never attempt . . . along with

There isn’t enough memory on the internet for a full critique of Bolling’s “singing”. But you have to remember that the parent company also thinks Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert and Taylor Swift are singers… so they MIGHT get a small pass here.

@doors17: Exactly. And when the big oil companies DO start showing those big gains, the GOP and FoxNoise won’t say as much as a bad word. No talk about increasing the tax rate or questioning why gas prices don’t come down. Just blind acceptance that big oil is taking risks and deserving of all the profits they make.

Typical grade school mentality from F&F.
They’re not fooling anyone. They’re thrilled about this especially when you consider their losers of candidates.
Where I live in California we have gone up 35 cents in a week. Our prices are between $4.06 and $4.35 everywhere. The only thing that’s cetain is soon oil companies will be reporting record quarterly profit margins.

Not sure which is worse, the song, the fact that Fox News thought this worthy of air time or Gretchen’s maniacal look of glee as she “grooves” along.

Must be seen to be believed!
