One week after disgraced Army veteran and Obama hater Allen West wrote that the military should disobey President Obama, there’s a conservative movement to put him in charge of the Secret Service.
On September 26, a column in The Washington Post suggested West take over the Secret Service, because of his "managerial and diplomatic skills."
On October 1, Brian Kilmeade endorsed the idea:
I would love to see you in a leadership role with the Secret Service because I do think… they’re some of the most fearless admirable men around. I’m sure some women too, but the ones I met were men, and those guys that stand on the roof all day with bullet proof vests willing to open up fire or take a bullet for the President, I’m in awe of them. I don’t want them lumped in with bureaucrats but there is something wrong.
It’s hard to know which part of West’s record Kilmeade (or anyone else) thinks makes him a good fit for the job. His hatred for President Obama and Democrats? His seditious Facebook post telling members of the military to disobey the Commander-in-Chief? Or is it the way his 22-year military career ended in disgrace after he mistreated an Iraqi prisoner?

Don’t forget, Republicans hate government so much that they basically put people in charge of agencies in order to render them ineffective – remember FEMA under “Brownie”? And how they cut funding for the IRS, Education Dept, etc, and then when those agencies cant do their jobs, cite that as proof that govt doesn’t work?
