America Live Hosted A Decent Discussion Of Trayvon Martin Shooting

Posted by Ellen -7842.60pc on March 22, 2012 · Flag

We've been critical of Fox News' coverage of the Trayvon Martin case - or lack thereof - but to give credit where it's due, yesterday's discussion on America Live was reasonable and yes, fair and balanced, in my view.

I also have to note that Hannity hosted a reasonable discussion of the case, too, later that night. Video of the America Live discussion with Sally Kohn and Monica Crowley below.

The last time Megyn Kelly talked about a case that made national headlines, she spent six and a half minutes debating whether or not a nurse named Lana Rosas deserved to be beaten comatose over a parking space by a man twice her size:

A LOT of people think she crossed the line there, and the flak she got from that may be why she’s walking the line talking about national crimes/cases again. Because she certainly wasn’t doing that before this aired.

They realized after the disgusting racist comments on their website they better do something to tone it down and scrapped the talking point “he shouldn’t have chosen to be a young black male”
