Today, the National Observer came out with a terrifying article about how our own Intelligence Community considers the Donald Trump White House “leaky, untruthful and penetrated by the Kremlin.” Yet on Fox News Sunday, there were no questions for “senior policy advisor” Stephen Miller about the troubling picture of Trump as an actual threat to national security. Instead, Miller was allowed to repeatedly claim that Trump’s controversial Muslim ban and his stepped-up immigration raids were out of a deep desire to keep Americans safe.

It's bad enough that Martin Luther King's niece, Alveda King, whitewashes her famous uncle's legacy in order to make it more palatable for white folks who watch Fox. Now, she's doing the same thing to MLK's wife, Coretta Scott King, in order to accuse Senator Elizabeth Warren, whose now famous speech on the Senate floor included Mrs. King's words, of "playing the race card."

Donald Trump’s national security adviser, Michael Flynn, is in big trouble, thanks to a bombshell report in The Washington Post Thursday night about his contacts with Russia before Trump became president. But Trump spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway had no defense when she spoke to Fox News Friday night. She didn’t deny any of the reporting. She refused to discuss it at all.

Funny, the right wing, aided and abetted by Fox, loves to describe anti-Trump liberals as delicate "snowflakes" who should just suck it up. But when conservatives feel that they are being treated unfairly, they don't suck it up. They go on Fox News and whine about it. And as shown by Steve Doocy's loving embrace of a persecuted conservative student this week, they always have a Fox shoulder to whine on. 

Yesterday, Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) visited Fox & Friends for a little Republican Rehab over his silencing of Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on the floor of the Senate during the debate over then-Senator Jeff Sessions' confirmation as United States attorney general.

Fox host Jeanine Pirro all but acknowledged that Donald Trump’s immigration ban is, in fact, a Muslim ban when she was discussing it on Fox & Friends this morning. At the very least, she was freely airing her bigotry toward people with Muslim names.

Today, Kellyanne Conway appeared to have broken federal law when she used her taxpayer-funded position to shill for Ivanka Trump merchandise on Fox & Friends. But during a friendly chat with Fox’s Martha MacCallum later, Conway never apologized for her transgression. Instead, she made it clear that a little thing like breaking the law was A-OK with her and Donald Trump. 

It’s hard to think of anyone on Fox News who has more gravitas (a low bar, admittedly) than Chris Wallace. So when he took to the network’s airwaves today to blast Kellyanne Conway and even Donald Trump for promoting Ivanka Trump merchandise, it's almost certain that it was a message from Fox News HQ.

Kellyanne Conway may have just added “alternative laws” to her love for “alternative facts” and alternative terrorism massacres. Today, on Fox & Friends she helped Donald Trump use his position to promote his family's business interests when she encouraged viewers to “go buy Ivanka’s stuff.” Unfortunately, there’s a federal law preventing that kind of behavior.

Department of Justice attorney August Flentje got poor marks for his bumbling performance defending the Trump administration’s Muslim ban before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday. But Sean Hannity, ever adoring fan-boy of Donald Trump, decided it was really the Democrats’ fault that the Trump administration stumbled.
