Fox has been talking about the Russia investigation in the past tense, as if it is over and done with and nothing ever came of it. That is not only untrue but a likely sign that the Trump TV network is worried.

Donald Trump returned to Texas over the weekend for a series of photo ops designed to make himself look like a decent, caring person and not the white-supremacist sympathizer using tragedy to sell a hat. Of course, Fox News was more than willing to do its part.

On her first day as a Fox News contributor, Tomi Lahren made a complete fool of herself. Within minutes of insisting that it’s an important public interest to get FBI files on Hillary Clinton’s emails, Lahren offered to ditch the whole "scandal" in exchange for others dropping Russia coverage.

I do not doubt that Fox News anchor Kelly Wright had good intentions when he began preaching to the distraught mayor of Rockport, Texas which was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. But I prefer my news anchors to report the news and leave the preaching and praying to somebody else. Especially when the praying just happens to be good PR for Donald Trump.

This is terrifying: Donald Trump, arguably the most powerful man in the world and with access to the best information in the world, reportedly gets most of his information from Fox News, the network that has been proven to make viewers less informed than watching no news at all.

Just a few weeks before “Megyn Kelly Today” becomes the new third hour of NBC’s “Today,” some NBC insiders are reportedly very worried about its prospects and whether Kelly will prove worthy of the $17 million NBC is reportedly investing in her each year.

Fox News may have just helped Tomi Lahren wage her “most important cultural battle,” that of making white people less afraid of offending blacks, by hiring her to provide commentary “primarily” on the Hannity show.
