Roger Ailes Used Fox News Contributor K.T. McFarland To Recruit Gen. Petraeus To Run For President
In case you thought the General David Petraeus situation couldn't get any stranger, now Bob Woodward - Hannity's latest BFF - has reported - in the Washington Post Style section, of all places - that Fox News chief Roger Ailes sent messages to Petraeus via Fox News national security analyst and online host K.T. McFarland urging him to position himself to run for president against President Obama in 2012.

Leave it to master baiter Sean Hannity to turn a segment about Bob Costas’ gun control-favoring comments in the wake of the Jovan Belcher murder/suicide into one on race. The producers’ choice of guests – African American Leo Terrell, a civil rights attorney, and Erik Rush, one of Hannity’s regularly designated African-American black attackers – strongly suggested a desire to use this segment to play the race card. And, in a typical Hannity maneuver, outsource the racial attacks. Sure enough, that’s exactly what happened, although there was so much shouting, it became hard to make out who was saying what.

Last night, during his War on Christmas discussion with Father Jonathan Morris, Bill O'Reilly made a rather startling admission: Christianity is a religion. Why is this statement that most of us would consider an obvious truth significant? Because just last week, when he was attacking arguments against Christmas displays on public property, O'Reilly insisted to the atheist he began yelling at that Christianity is a philosophy.

While one in five Americans have no religious affiliation, American Christianity is still doing just fine except on Fox News where those who are clinging to their bibles are convinced that evil atheists are out to snatch those bibles from their cold, dead hands. Fox & Friends is the place where these persecuted Christians receive warm fellowship from their fellow curvy couch Christians. This morning, Fox professional Christian, Gretchen Carlson was all aglow with the spirit of Christian victimhood as she spoke to GOP House Rep. and chair of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, Randy Forbes, about how evil non-believers are trying to force new members of congress to stay out of the Congressional Prayer Caucus because of its advocacy for conservative Christian issues. Forget Jesus, the Congressional Prayer Caucus has a friend in Fox & Friends.
Read moreJon Stewart's Hilarious Take Down Of Fox's War On Christmas
If there's one thing that makes watching Fox's war on Christmas coverage bearable, it's the realization of how much great material it provides for Jon Stewart. Last night, he did not disappoint. Noting that Fox's War on Christmas has "become a little predictable," he played Madlibs with Fox segments to prove his point.
Fox Nation Uses WND Article Baselessly Accusing Black Football Players Of Racist Assault
Like the America of Jim Crow, Fox Nation is inhabited by racists who not only loathe African-Americans, but actually would like to see them dead. As such, those who select articles for Fox Nation appear to deliberately post threads designed to make African-Americans look bad so that the patriotic Fox Nation residents can let loose with vile racist rhetoric. Such is the case with the thread titled "Football Stars Charged in Racial Knockout Game" which links to an article from World Net Daily which, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, is now trafficking in white nationalism. In implying a racial motivation for an alleged assault by a black man on a white man, the article suggests that racially motivated black on white crime is part of a national problem. Nice to see that Fox Nation, devoted to those who "oppose intolerance," is pushing a meme that's popular with white nationalists!
Read moreBill O’Reilly: The Reluctant Christmas Warrior – Yeah, Right
I don’t know about you but I don’t buy for one second Bill O’Reilly’s claim that he only fights the war on Christmas because he has to. I’d say he does it because it gets him lots of attention and almost certainly doesn’t hurt in the ratings department. Oh, yeah, and it gives him an excuse to go after his favorite targets while putting on his Christian martyr halo. So it was with more than a little skepticism that I watched him announce tonight on The O’Reilly Factor that he wished he didn't have to fight the war on Christmas, it's just his duty “to keep this country sane” and “it’s not an easy deal.”
Read moreFox Nation ‘Honors’ Rosa Parks With Violent Death Wishes For Obama
Fox Nation used the anniversary of Rosa Parks’ refusal to give up her bus seat as – what else? An occasion to smear President Obama. Although Fox Nation boasts about its dedication to civility, tolerance and unity, there seems to be only one post about this milestone in history: President Obama Honors Rosa Parks Anniversary With Picture Of…Himself. I’m sure the editors will be shocked, shocked I tell you, to find that the readers responded with comments such as, “Id love a signed picture of obama.... for target practice.”
Read moreCavuto Wrongly Suggests Americans Prefer Spending Cuts To Tax Increases
Last week (11/28/12), Neil Cavuto spoke from Los Angeles about California voters approving propositions raising the top tax rate as well as raising the sales tax. Cavuto used his Common Sense commentary to pivot from there and forecast that the national “fiscal cliff” talks will result in a deal that is “heavily weighted” in tax hikes. He went on to give the misimpression that Americans would prefer to cut spending.
Read moreKimberley Guilfoyle, Brian Kilmeade Tell Christmas Lies About RI Gov. Chafee
Tis the season for Fox News to honor the Baby Jesus with personal attacks and lies about those who, according to Fox, aren't sufficiently honoring the Baby Jesus. During Wednesday's "The Five," there was lots of weeping and gnashing of teeth over how Christianity is "under attack." But while Jesus BFF Kimberly Guilfoyle is long on leg (Not for nothing does she get the coveted "leg chair"), she's short on truth given that she advanced Fox lies about RI Gov. Lincoln Chafee who is standing his ground against the Fox "war on Christmas" crusaders by still referring to the state tree as a "holiday tree." Joining Guilfoyle in the lies was fellow Jesus BFF Brian Kilmeade whose claim that Fox News consults its binders full of Victoria's Secret models, when hiring, is underscored by the presence of former Victoria's Secret model Guilfoyle. Once again, the Baby Jesus must be so proud of his Fox posse!
