Heather Childers Tell Great Big Christmas Lie In Further Smearing RI Gov. Chafee

Posted by Priscilla -26.60pc on November 29, 2012 · Flag

It's that time of year when Fox News mounts its annual crusade against those who are allegedly waging a war on Christmas which, according to Gretchen Carlson, is all about Jesus. Yet, Fox pundits have no problem attacking those who do not hew to the Fox orthodoxy. While Americans celebrate the holidays with ham and turkey, Fox loves the smell of roasting scapegoat. This year's repeat victim is RI's gov. Lincoln Chafee who has the audacity to continue, like his GOP predecessor (sshhh), designating the state tree as the "Holiday Tree." Fox's apoplexy began when the governor's office said that there would be no tree lighting at the state house. But that was a mistake and the governor personally told the people of his state that the lighting would take place. But these facts did not deter Fox & Friends First which, in its zeal to smear the governor, actually served up a steaming, pile of bullshit.

Sitting all tall and perky on their stools which provide them with maximum leg exposure, (birther) Heather Childers and Heather Nauert reported on the latest faux Fox News outrage. Childers began "Governor of RI pulling a bah-humbug this year and ditching Christmas. Governor Lincoln Chafee IS COMPLETELY REMOVING the Christmas tree display in the State House." Nauert made the requisite point that it was Gov. Chafee who changed the name of the tree when, in reality, his GOP, Catholic, pro-life predecessor Don Carcieri did the same thing although Fox didn't seem to care about that.

Hey Heather, if your researchers did their job, instead of pulling material out of their asses, they might have discovered that Governor Chafee made it very clear that there would be a tree and it would be lit. It hasn't been removed. In fact, it was lit this afternoon. And Bah, Humbug? Really? Chafee was quoted, earlier this week, as saying that "this should be a happy time of year and I want to make sure that I can do everything possible to keep it a happy time of year."

Fox & Friends was described as "the morning happy-talk show that Ailes uses as one of his primary vehicles to inject his venom into the media bloodstream." It's clear that Fox & Friends First serves the same purpose. Should there be even a question as to why Fox viewers are misinformed?!

God Bless Us Everyone?

All that morning-show happy talk is belied by the nastiness of the messages they convey. All too often in the name of a man named Jesus who reportedly (cf. the Gospels) enjoined his followers to practice love, tolerance and peace. Present the other cheek sort of stuff not lash out in anger.

We’ve got three Heathers in this thread. The Heather who posted about 6 hours ago is totally brainwashed if she truly believes that Fox is on the side of truth, Christ and the USA. Rupert Murdoch became American only to be able to expand his media enterprises and t’wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he had his fingers crossed as he recited the pledge of allegiance.

The two Heathers with endless legs on fully display are, however, only doing the bidding of their masters. Were I their granny, I’d be urging them to marry immediately and as well as they can because Fox is becoming less relevant by the day and their hopes of employment elsewhere are slim, at least as journalists.
