Fox's 'The Five' Hypocrisy Watch - Hollywood Edition

Posted by Priscilla · December 15, 2014 10:40 AM · 4 reactions

One of Fox's plethora of culture war wedge issues is about how Hollywood is a bastion of liberals - a right wing meme that reached its height in the McCarthy era red baiting. And while those days are over, Fox, in an effort to keep hate alive, frequently lambastes those in Hollywood who hate Jesus and America. Last week, the patriots on Fox's "The Five" whined about supposed anti-military bias in this year's selection of Golden Globe nominees because the movies "Unbroken" and "American Sniper" were "snubbed." Eric Bolling whined about "liberal nutjobs" in Hollywood.Yet, Bolling and the gang don't seem to have any problem hanging with the Hollywood homies

Dietl_for_mayor.png

Former NYPD Detective and Fox News contributor Bo Dietl repeatedly announced on the air Friday that he will run for New York City mayor in 2017 against Bill de Blasio. Host Neil Cavuto should have probed to find out if Dietl is serious because if he is, he should be removed from the Fox payroll pronto.

Eric Bolling Ignores Catholic Bishops Condemnation Of Torture?!

Posted by Priscilla · December 14, 2014 6:21 PM · 3 reactions

Eric Bolling is a devout Catholic who considers himself "as Christian as they come." He goes to daily Mass where he lights candles for his Fox pals. Because he feels an obligation to "stand up" for his faith, Bolling once kicked an atheist off of a Fox business show! And when it comes to abortion and birth control, Bolling stands firmly with the Catholic Church. But funny, he isn't quite on board with church teachings when it comes to immigration and torture which Vatican bishops, in reacting to the Senate report on torture, said was "a betrayal of human values and should no longer be used as an interrogation technique." Is the smug, self-righteous Eric Bolling (and his fellow Fox torture supporting Catholics) a "cafeteria Catholic?" Oh, nooo......

Eric Bolling Wants Brian Williams’ Citizenship Revoked For Questioning Torture

Fox’s Eric Bolling doesn’t just support torture, he apparently thinks it’s anti-American for a journalist to question it in an interview with a former CIA chief.

Anna Kooiman: Atheists Are Trying 'To Convert Christians Into Atheists'

Posted by Priscilla · December 14, 2014 1:45 PM · 10 reactions

Because those on Fox are such exemplary Christians, they really hate it when atheists use their 1st Amendment rights to put up billboards which support their world view. This year, Fox unleashed a torrent of agita about signs which encourage "closet" atheists to not be intimidated into attending Christmas religious services - a message seen as part of the "war on Christmas." One of Fox's propaganda points is that these nasty atheists are using the signs to recruit good Christians to the dark side. This ridiculous assertion, that atheists are proselytizing, was advanced this morning on Fox & Friends during which Anna Kooiman pushed all the right propaganda buttons. But interestingly, her guest wasn't really buying it. Propaganda fail?
