The soap opera otherwise known as Fox News continues this week, at least in the rumor mill. As the Murdoch sons work to overhaul Fox for the 21st Century (no pun intended), there are rumors that co-president Bill Shine may be on the way out, that the family may look for a woman to head Fox News, that Sean Hannity won’t be long for the network and that he, along with some others who feel the network is moving too far to the left, may form an alternative network.

Fox News’ newest program, “The Fox News Specialists,” will start airing Monday, May 1, at 5 PM ET, during the hour that The Five (now in prime time) formerly aired. Clearly, the choice of cohosts, Eric Bolling, Katherine Timpf and Eboni K. Williams is a deliberate show of diversity both in thought (sort of), age and ethnicity. But how “new” it will be remains to be seen.

Sean Hannity continued suggesting that liberals are behind the problems at Fox News and somehow responsible for the conservative pundit who suggested he had sexually harassed her (then walked it back). Then, in the name of free speech, Hannity threatened to sic his “killer team of lawyers and investigators” on the liberals who disparagingly write about him.

A very tantalizing report from CNN’s Brian Stelter reveals that in addition to an investigation by the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service is also investigating wrongdoing at Fox News.

Remember when Fox News anchor Heather Nauert promoted Ivanka Trump’s shoes? A few days later, Nauert was reportedly in the running for a new job as the spokesperson for the Trump administration’s State Department. Now, it’s official.

Multimillionaire Sean Hannity found it “frustrating” the Republican-led Congress hasn’t destroyed Americans’ health insurance fast enough with an outright repeal of Obamacare (despite overwhelming public opposition to such a measure). But he and fellow elitist Newt Gingrich took heart in the fact that Republicans plan to do away with subsidies that make health insurance affordable.

Tuesday, the all-conservative Outnumbered panel scolded Democrats for their not very proper language. But this being Fox News, President Trump's profanities were presented as part of his "authenticity." Hmmm. Double standard?

One night after Jesse Watters made a suggestive comment about Ivanka Trump, he announced he's going on vacation until Monday. Mind you, this is during his first week as cohost of a show that was just added to Fox's prime time lineup.
