Jon Stewart Gives A Comedic Shout Out To Roger Ailes' 'Solution' To Syria
We posted the other day about Roger Ailes' proposed solution to the Syria crisis - as revealed in some off-the-cuff remarks in his Ailes-approved biography. Last night, Jon Stewart gave his comedic take on it.
Read moreTucker Carlson: Black On White Crime Is Obviously "Fashionable"
The Trayvon Martin case generated discussion about the role of race and racism in our society. But not for the white right wing which used the tragedy to advance their claim that while black activists and the president made the Martin case into a "race case," the real issue is the imaginary wave of black on white hate crime which, they claim is being ignored by the mainstream media. And because the president identified with Trayvon, these aggrieved folks think that he needs to show the same empathy whenever a black person is involved in a crime against a white - even when there is no racial motive. As the network for white grievance, it wasn't a surprise when Fox's famous "dick" Tucker Carlson advanced the claim that librul media hasn't given the same amount of coverage to Chris Lane, a white man who was randomly killed by a mixed race group of teens, as they did for Trayvon Martin. In addition to pushing this false equivalency, on a network that ignores real hate crimes, he also claimed that "fashionable" black on white crime is ignored and that Pres.Obama owes America an apology for this crime. No, I'm not making this up.

Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City and Mayor on 9/11 12 years ago, opened yesterday's Your World by lying about Benghazi on its one year anniversary.
Read moreFox & Friends Hosts Get Spiritual Advice From Christian Homophobe Kirk Cameron?!
Kirk Cameron is a former child actor ("Growing Pains") who has now turned to evangelical Christianity and rabid, right wing activism. And while he loves Jesus, he is also a homophobe who believes that homosexuality "is detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization." He thinks that marriage was defined, in the Garden of Eden, as being between a man and a woman and has joined up with the National Organization for Marriage in order to promote its homophobic propaganda about how "God" will so not be at your gay wedding. And if you criticize his views, you're "trying to take his freedom away" and obviously part of the anti-Christian "secular-totalitarian" agenda. Now that he wasn't successful in persuading Americans to vote against Obama's "flood of moral and spiritual evil," Kirk has produced a new movie in which he preaches about the importance of faith in adversity - a movie that he pimped, this morning, on Fox & Friends. Where else...!!!!!
Read moreGood-bye Fox Report, Hello Sean Hannity At 7 PM?
Shepard Smith has signed a new deal with Fox News that gives him more money but one less show. His Fox Report will no longer air at 7 PM ET, making it quite likely that Sean Hannity will move into that spot when Megyn Kelly returns and takes over his 9 PM slot, as was reported not too long ago. Smith will also now become what is described as "the primary breaking news anchor" and become managing editor of a newly-created breaking news division.
Read moreBill O’Reilly Cherry Picks Four Black Crimes To Suggest Hate Crimes Are On The Rise
Bill O’Reilly opened a segment last night in which he rhetorically asked, “Is there a rise of hate crimes in the U.S.A. in the wake of the Trayvon Martin verdict?” Anyone remotely familiar with The O'Reilly Factor and/or Fox News, in general, knew in advance what answer would be presented. But O’Reilly’s own behavior didn’t just undercut his thesis it suggested he was hiding the truth.
Read moreFox & Friends Pimps Persecuted Christian Filmmakers - And Their Movie!
Add to the steady Fox & Friends parade of Christians, who are being persecuted by the slings and arrows of outrageous (popular Fox word) secularism, Christian filmmakers whose Christian film has been given an R rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. On this morning's Fox & Friends, Jesus BFF's Steve Doocy and Brain Brian Kilmeade (Per Colbert, the Doocemeade) hosted the Christian director of "My Son," a Christian movie made by the congregation, praise Jesus, of a Texas Baptist Church. The film, Jesus wept, got an R rating because of some violence and drug use and, as such, those connected to the effort are, according to Todd Starnes article which "broke" this shocking expose, shocked! So, where better to bring your vintage Christian whine about how this reflects an anti-Christian agenda than Fox & Friends. Not only will Fox get to advance its evil Hollywood meme, but the filmmakers will get lots of free publicity. Jesus applauds!
Read moreEric Bolling: If Only Obama Took His Syria Policy From Roger Ailes!
Ladies and gentlemen, Eric Bolling wears him some lipstick - and his favorite color is brown! Yesterday, in perhaps the greatest example of on-air butt kissing I have ever seen, Bolling decided that his boss, Roger Ailes, had revealed the answer to the crisis in Syria in 2012 in his authorized biography (the one Fox keeps touting in an effort to counteract the unauthorized one due out in 2014) that was released earlier this year.
Read moreBachmann: President Obama Always Sides With Muslim Brotherhood
Last weekend, Michele Bachmann proved herself an utter embarrassment to our country when, during a Tea Party delegation visit to Egypt, she wrongly suggested that the Muslim Brotherhood was responsible for the 9/11 attacks on the United States. But on Monday (9/9/11), Bachmann visited On The Record where she was treated as a credible authority on the Middle East and now accused President Obama of “choos(ing) the side of the Muslim Brotherhood” in every situation possible. There was no challenge to her outrageous accusation.
Read moreMartha MacCallum Pimps Syrian Crisis As Sign Of End Times, Push For Caliphate
Just when you think that Fox News - and I'm talking the official "news" format - can't get any more absurd, along comes something so extraordinarily ridiculous that you just have to ask yourself "are they f**king kidding?!" Such was the case, on yesterday's America Live, when Martha MacCallum actually promoted, with a straight face, the notion that what's happening in Syria is a - wait for it - sign of the end times and the push for a radical Islamic caliphate. And this isn't the first time that this bullshit has been promoted. On Monday, Fox's Neil Cavuto credulously reacted to the "amazing" claims, by Christian Zionist apocalypse huckster, former assistant to Benjamin Netanyahu, and author, Joel Rosenberg, that what's happening in Syria could be a fulfillment of biblical prophesies about the end of days. But Cavuto's show is Fox "opinion" unlike MacCallum's show which is supposedly straight news - not religious broadcasting. Then again, Fox does know its demographics.
