Fox Nation 'Celebrates' July 4th By Suggesting It's Time For A New Revolution
Those America lovers at Fox Nation have gotten into the 4th of July spirit - by "asking" if we're in a "pre-revolutionary state." The article lists a number of complaints about President Obama before concluding, "Tahrir Square anyone?" (H/T Media Matters)
Read moreIs Van Susteren Trying To Return To CNN?
Cue up the "Megyn Kelly moving to prime time" rumor machine. Amid speculation that Kelly is being groomed to take over Greta Van Susteren's 10 PM primetime spot on Fox News, Mediaite is reporting that Van Susteren initiated talks to return to her former network, CNN.
Read moreGreta Van Susteren Jumps To Defend George Zimmerman Getting Out Of The Car
During a discussion of the George Zimmerman trial tonight, one of Greta Van Susteren’s guests, a former homicide detective, raised an excellent question about George Zimmerman’s behavior the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin: why did Zimmerman really get out of his car? But Van Susteren was so quick to validate Zimmerman’s explanation (that he was looking for a street address) and then move on, she never took the time to consider the implications of Zimmerman's behavior.
Read moreMartha MacCallum Attacks Wendy Davis, "Ghoulish" Abortion Rights
As Fox News is America's "pro-life" news network, it is only fitting that alleged Fox "news" host Martha MacCallum is very upfront about her "pro-life" views which encompass the lie that Plan B induces abortion. In validating and supporting the anti-abortion movement, she is always willing to validate their talking points. Such was the case, this morning, when she and her pro-life panel attacked Texas State Senator, Wendy Davis, for her advocacy in defending a Texas women's right to a safe and legal abortion, something which will be greatly curtailed if the Texas "pro-life" bill passes - a reality that Martha & co. dismissed. But what was worse was how MacCallum just couldn't understand why abortion access is so important. Of course, if abortion is criminalized, wealthy white women like Martha, will have no problem obtaining a "procedure" from a reputable doctor while at the same time poor women, many of them minorities, will die in back alley abortions. This could happen, in Texas, if the bill passes. And Fox News thinks that there's no war on women? As the awesome Melissa Harris-Perry would say, "Wow, Seriously?!

Move over persecuted Christians. There are some new victims in Fox town. In response to women's empowerment, a movement has emerged which seeks to empower men to put those uppity bitches in their place. The "men's rights" movement is a backlash against changing gender roles and norms which threaten traditional masculinity. So it's not surprising that Fox's morning show that champions "traditional" values would, last week, interview a female clinician who champions men's rights. Funny, when Sandra Fluke spoke out against the discriminatory practices of employers who refuse to provide contraceptive coverage, Fox talkers accused her of being a "poster child for whiny entitlement." But when a clinician advances the whine that men are a bunch of underachieving schlubs "checking out of society" because of uppity bitches, it's all good...Oh, and Brian Kilmeade is upset that men are portrayed, on TV, as idiots. Oh, the irony!
Read moreFacebook Kerfuffle Todd Starnes’ Latest Excuse To Play The Conservative Christian Victim
Poor, persecuted Christian Todd Starnes (who almost certainly makes a very nice living with despite his victimhood) has a new excuse to drum up fear and loathing against anyone slightly to the left of his views – which, by his own admission is most of America. The reason this time? Facebook temporarily removed one of his posts before reinstating it with an apology. That was all the reason Starnes needed to initiate a pity party on the curvy couch of Fox & Friends this morning.
Read moreFox News Hosts Decide Zimmerman Trial Is Over
As I posted a few days ago, Fox News has dispensed with the need for a jury because they already “know” George Zimmerman is not guilty. On Friday (6/28/13), one week into what is expected to be a two to four week trial, no less than three Fox News hosts announced that the verdict is in: Zimmerman not guilty. Sean Hannity, a college drop out, announced, “As far as I’m concerned, this case is over today.”

Another week, another round of outrageousness from the "fair and balanced" folks at Fox News. This week's collection includes Fox Nation apparently mistaking NSA leaker Edward Snowden for a bug, Neil Cavuto gushing over the forecasts of a discredited climate-change denier and Todd Starnes getting the vapors over the Supreme Court's decision on gay marriage. Take a peek at this week's crop after the jump and cast your vote. Because while many Fox News quotes are outrageous, only one can be the Most Outrageous Quote Of The Week!

Last week's results of our Fox News Most Outrageous Quote Of The Week poll was very close but Fox regular Bill Cunningham eked out a "victory" with his sexist attack on his fellow guest, Tamara Holder, telling her to "know your place and shut your mouth." More results after the jump.
Read moreTucker Carlson Insults The Episcopal Church
Famous "dick," gay basher, and Fox News host and contributor Tucker Carlson was baptized in the Episcopal Church and married the daughter of an Episcopal priest. But he eventually realized that God hates fags, women priests, and abortion. So being the morally superior person that he is, he left the historic Falls Church Episcopal Church and joined an Anglican Church whose beliefs dovetail nicely with those of fundamentalist Christians and the Catholic Church, both of which receive pride of place at the "fair & balanced" Fox News. Being the morally superior person that he is, Carlson, during a February Fox & Friends, insulted Wiccans because they, allegedly, hate Christians. On last week's Fox & Friends, in validating an anti-abortion priest's attack on Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Carlson insulted the Episcopal Church because, according to the morally superior Carlson, it "loves abortion." This, of course, is a lie but when has the truth ever been important for Fox's morning propaganda and very Christian chat show, Fox & Friends!
