Cue up the "Megyn Kelly moving to prime time" rumor machine. Amid speculation that Kelly is being groomed to take over Greta Van Susteren's 10 PM primetime spot on Fox News, Mediaite is reporting that Van Susteren initiated talks to return to her former network, CNN.
Mediaite says:
According to our high-level sources within CNN, the Fox host initiated several meetings with CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker earlier this spring, inquiring about a potential return to CNN.
...The On the Record host’s alleged flirtations with coming back to CNN may indicate that, even though she just re-signed a deal with Fox, her 10 p.m. primetime slot could be in trouble.

I’d be curious to see if she follows through with this. Just to see whether she would adjust her editorial slant when back on CNN. Would she maintain the Fox News approach or would she depart from the party line?
