Bill O’Reilly Starts Talking Impeachment Over Obamacare
Of all the Fox News politicization of Obamacare, Bill O’Reilly may take the cake. He’s not just trashing the Affordable Care Act. He’s actually agitating to impeach President Obama over it.

That there is, despite the GOP/Fox News claim to the contrary, a "war on women," was shown on this morning's Fox & Friends. The contempt with which the Fox/right wing patriarchy holds women was underscored by John Stossel and Steve Doocy who not only defended gender inequality in health care; but mocked the ACA's attempts to resolve it. And what made it even worse was than there was no woman taking part in the discussion - a void that was reminiscent of the GOP congressional hearing on contraception which featured a panel of men only. And this isn't the first time that Fox & Friends hosted a gender baiting segment that promoted higher insurance costs for women. But when that happened, much to her credit, Gretchen Carlson jumped in and told it like it was. Today, right wing testosterone prevailed. Once again, we're reminded that the GOP war on women is very real and Fox is in its front lines!

On Fox News Sunday, the panel discussed strains between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. Although guest Peter Baker, of the New York Times, pointed out that Saudi Arabia wants President Obama to do things he has no political support at home to do, Brit Hume made sure to find a way to blame Obama.
Read moreMegyn Kelly’s Near Hysteria To Bash Obamacare
Megyn Kelly’s disingenuous mask of neutrality slipped big time tonight on The Kelly File as she debated Democratic Congressman Frank Pallone over Obamacare. Pallone put up a spirited defense of the Affordable Care Act – and rebutted those supposed Obamacare victims that Fox loves so much they can’t be bothered to fact check whether the victimhood is real. And Kelly? She was so determined to smear the ACA that she sounded on the verge of hysteria.
Read moreGreta Van Susteren Outs Her Own Fake Obamacare Victim, Sort Of
We’ll file this in the credit where credit is due department. Greta Van Susteren more or less debunked a Florida Obamacare “victim” who had been profiled on CBS as losing her health insurance and being stuck with a plan that costs ten times more. In an October 28th interview, Van Susteren pointed out that the existing health insurance policy was almost worthless and the “victim” herself admitted she may well be eligible for a policy at substantially less than the amount being touted. However, there were plenty of clues that Van Susteren’s revelation was less than welcome music to Fox News’ ears.

In addition to promoting the Christian right's not so sacramental whine about America's Christians who are constantly besieged by the secular, atheist, and gay "agendas," Fox News has taken its patented "war on Christians" international. Last week they did three, count em, pieces about how Middle Eastern Christians are suffering at the hands of Muslims. But the Fox coverage of the Fox "war on Christians" is, like the battle of good vs. evil, still in full throttle as, on Monday, Bill Hemmer discussed it on America's Newsroom, an afternoon "new" show which he hosts. And who better to assist Bill, in promoting the new meme, than former UN Ambassador, John Bolton, who was totally on board with a war in which the US overthrew an Iraqi dictator who protected Christians.

Corbin Bernsen has certainly had a far more auspicious career than Kirk Cameron. But, like Kirk, he found Jesus and, like Kirk, is now producing religious films which, like Kirk's films, are promoted on America's faith based morning show, "Fox & Friends." This morning, on Fox & Friends, Bernsen discussed his new film, "Beyond the Heavens," which, according to "Movie Guide," is about how a religiously skeptical young boy and his religiously skeptical teacher eventually come to God. However, unlike Kirk's oeuvre, this film isn't as didactic. During the interview, Bernsen, in focusing on how the movie is about "exploration of faith," downplayed the evangelical aspect of the movie. But that didn't stop the cretinous, curvy couch conservative Christians from using the film to channel the inerrant word of the religious right.

Ever on the lookout for victims of Obamacare – which Fox then trots out as “proof” that the entire Affordable Care Act is a failure, Fox is not too particular about the facts. Such as whether or not these people really are victims. We saw it with the Hannity show, with The Kelly File and now… Your World.

Last week, I posted about Sean Hannity’s promise to help Tea Party Senator (and government shutdown BFF) Mike Lee (R-UT) re-elected despite an effort by more mainstream Republicans to oust him. Last night, Hannity doubled down and all but gave out an 800 number for viewers to call in and pledge assistance.
Read moreFox News’ Dr. Siegel: Obamacare Means Too Many People Will Get Health Care
Last night, Fox News contributor Dr. Marc Siegel once again complained about Obamacare. His beef? Too many people will get medical attention as a result. Only on Fox News would a doctor who wants people to get less health care be on the payroll. And be allowed to air this bellyaching repeatedly.
