Bill O'Reilly Praises TMZ Poll As Validation For His Beyoncé Shaming
Bill O'Reilly's obsession with what he considers the sexual impurity of female pop stars began with Miley Cyrus and has been taken to a whole new level with his bizarre belief that the music of Beyoncé will inspire young African-American girls to have unprotected sex leading to pregnancy. He has no qualms about attacking Queen Bey because, as part of his divinely inspired job to look out for us, he's looking out for minority teens who, I guess, are motivated by music videos. Bill is upset about the corrupting effects of Beyoncé's sexy video (always shown during his homilies) and he wants you to share his concern. Thus, he congratulated himself and TMZ for the results of an on-line poll which showed that more folks sided with Bill than Bey. What he didn't mention was that the article's description of Bill wasn't too flattering.

Last week, as part of a discussion about Donald Sterling and race in America, Bill O’Reilly “just asked” basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar if he loves and/or respects this country. Tonight, The O’Reilly Factor followed up by maligning his comments on ABC's This Week, accusing him of "playing the race card" and attacking him for not recognizing what guest host Laura Ingraham whitesplained are the "real" problems facing black America.

Predictably, Fox News served up plenty of sour grapes over President Obama’s White House Correspondents Dinner jokes. While TMZ said Obama “absolutely SLAYED it,” the hosts of Outnumbered worked very hard to make you think he was a dud. They complained about “a mostly unsmiling president” who used the word “piss off” and whose jabs at Fox News are “getting a little old.” And then they found a way to gush over the latest Benghazi developments - even though there weren't any.
Read moreClayton Morris: It's 'Emasculating' When Wives Earn More Than Husbands Who Need To 'Bring Home The Bacon'
Conservative women are represented in the upper echelons of politics and business; but the right wing is still a sexist patriarchy as shown by recent comments, by right wing doyenne Phyllis Schlafly, who recently claimed that women prefer husbands who earn more than they do and that if there were pay equity, women would be less able to find a suitable mate. This archaic view of gender roles is promoted on Fox. In hosting Schlafly's niece, Suzanne Venker, who believes that women should submit to men, Fox & Friends suggested that "feminism" is to blame for women getting uppity. Fox's anti-feminism was also given voice in a Fox & Friends segment in which a conservative woman claimed that she was bullied by feminists. Andrea Tantaros, on Fox's newest leg show "Outnumbered," says that feminists are responsible for boys doing badly in school. And yesterday, with a perfectly straight face, Clayton Morris pondered whether it's "emasculating" when wives make more than husbands - a message that dovetails nicely with Fox's strange anti-feminist, anti-"wussification," fear of castration meme. Go figure!

Our Fox News Outrageous Quote of the Week poll is back! Not surprisingly, Fox News has been as outrageous as ever. For your consideration this week, we've got Benghazi outrageousness, of course, along with some shocking comments engendered by Donald Sterling's racist rant. Plus nostalgia for firing squads, lies about abortion and ObamaCare and climate change as something that doesn't "actually matter." And more. Got your thinking caps on? Ready? Set? Go...

In case you thought Fox’s Benghazi obsession was only about Hillary Clinton or – don’t make me laugh – the death of four Americans, check out ex-Judge Jeanine Pirro’s commentary from yesterday’s show. In case you think this woman has any credibility, don’t forget this is the same former judge who was shockingly blind to the overwhelming evidence about President Obama’s birth certificate when Fox was all over that fake issue. That’s not counting her own history of being married to the mob.
Read moreMike Huckabee Questions Backlash To Movie About 'Normal' Families
Poor Mike Huckabee. He just can't understand why there is a backlash to a movie, made by Focus on the Family, about the importance of "natural" marriage which, of course, is about Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Last night, he discussed "Irreplaceable" and how some nasty people are trying to persuade theater owners to cancel the upcoming run of this nice, Christian movie made by nice Christians who say that "homosexual behavior violates God’s intentional design for gender and sexuality." And during this discussion, in a moment of truly amazing irony, Huckabee and Focus on the Family president Jim Daly, unintentionally, made the case that this movie is well deserving of criticism.

Now that it’s no longer expedient for Sean Hannity to cozy up to lawbreaking rancher Cliven Bundy and his armed posse of federal-government haters, and with his previous BFF, George Zimmerman, now not looking so good, Hannity has found a new armed extremist to champion: a vigilante killer who was convicted for executing unarmed teenagers after they broke into his home.
Read moreBill Hemmer Validates James Dobson's Anti-Choice Attack On Pres. Obama With Anti-Choice Lies
One assumes that if Pres. Obama used the National Day of Prayer to promote abortion rights, Fox News would go to full outrage mode in claiming that the President had politicized a supposedly non-partisan event open to all religious groups. But in a stunning demonstration of Christian right duplicity, Dr. James Dobson hijacked the Capital event in order to attack Obama over abortion and spread the anti-choice lie that abortion is paid for with tax dollars. Thursday night, Megyn Kelly did challenge Dobson; but one wonders if the piece was more about Dobson being able to push his talking points on national TV.Yesterday, any doubts of Fox's support for Dobson were erased during alleged real news guy Bill Hemmer's piece which, while ostensibly fair & balanced, was just another Fox platform to spread "pro-life" lies and advance the Fox meme that the President hates Christians.
